The official definition of the term "Vigilante" is A citizen who appoints themselves to a position of law enforcement in a community because they believe local law enforcement is incompetent or inadequate to handle the city's/community's crime alone. They have no legal authority and often practice their brand of crime fighting in a violent manner.
This definition, in most aspects, sounds like how we view "superheroes" but in a less fictional way.
My character, Felix Kingsman, grew up in a relatively wealthy family where he is well known in his community as his family was what is considered a "founding family" who helped build the town. He is especially well-known because he went missing and was presumed dead for several years before his recent, and surprising return.
The idea here is that he came back from the place he was (revealed later) with a mission to save the city he grew up in but local law enforcement is blind to just how deeply corrupted it is. Create your character as a family member of Felix, a friend, another vigilante, superhero, or person with a special skill or ability to join his team… whatever you want. Be creative and if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask…

I just waltz right into the Wildcard Roleplay and saw this. I am interested in this but I'm a bit confused about two parts. So my character has to have some sort of relation to Felix? (like being a family member, colleague, or friend?) And if my character needs a special skill does it have to be realistic? I'll most likely ask more questions in the future. (as I always do)

1.) You don't have to have any relationship to him. It was more so an example of roles you can have. Your character can have never met mine but maybe yours is a very good hacker or something (That's their skill) so they meet him and join his team as a hacker. Honestly, it's whatever you want I was just putting some ideas out there.
2.) Nah. It can be a super power for all I care. Have fun with it.
3.) nah that's good. I like questions.

Have fun with it. You can give your character a cool backstory or power or whatever you want. No relation to my character is necessary.

Age: 23
Appearance: Eric is 3/4 Mexican and 1/4 Korean. He has light brown skin, black hair, and brown eyes. He always wears glasses with black frames and a grey jacket, but his usual attire is shirts with logos on them (or tie-dye shirts), cargo shorts, and sneakers.
Personality: Eric is close to being considered talkative and always tries to listen to what others have to say He is a person who always tries to make sure he doesn't get on anyone's bad side since he has trouble defending himself in a fight. When he is in an argument he would think to himself if the argument is worth his time, then he would either argue or just say "Ok. You're right." He tends to get messy and slow from time to time especially when it comes to cooking.
Special Ability/Skill: He can bring a drawing or animation to life
Hobbies: cooking, drawing
Backstory: He was abandoned as a kid by his parents and spent most of his life in an orphanage. He gave himself a nickname for the other kids to call him, which was PD. He later realized it wasn't suitable for him but the other kids still called him PD. He was called Eric Marx by the adults at the orphanage because he shared some ideas Karl Marx had.

Personality: To the public: laid back, charming, personable. He is a kind and caring person if you give him the chance to be but he's been through a lot so he tends to be a bit abrasive when he first meets people.
Backstory: The Kingsman family, a wealthy bloodline, was one of the first families to live in Gateway City. Because they are a founding family, they are practically celebrities in the area. Felix grew up in the public's eye. In his teen years it seemed like all that was on the news was tales of the last party he got too drunk at or how many police officers it took to catch everyone's favorite frat boy this time. All of this changed when his long time girlfriend, Emily, passed away in what was believed to be a fatal car vs. pedestrian accident. Felix knew this wasn't true. Emily wasn't rich, she wasn't a first class citizen. She lived a life of poverty before she met Felix and his father hated that. He knew she would bring down his social status and Felix believed he had her killed because of it. When Felix started digging into it, he discovered that the founding families had an organization the public didn't know about. They were all horrible criminals, hellbent on tearing the city their families built to the ground. Felix went missing a week after finding this information and was presumed dead by the public for 7 years. The news headlines read: 19 year-old Felix Kingsman found overdosed on drug early Saturday morning. Gateway City grieves.
Felix was found in the woods by hikers, barely clinging to life, his body covered in seven years worth of scars. He had secrets now, he came back as someone else, ready to fight his father's organization and avenge Emily's death while also keeping up with his public appearance.
Special Ability/Skill: Felix spent some of his 7 years in a lab (Will elaborate later) where they illegally experimented with morphogenetics. Felix has the ability to turn into a wolf (kinda like a werewolf in most regards). In his human form, he heals faster, runs faster, has advanced hearing, smell, and eyesight as well as "super strength"
Hobbies?: played soccer in high school. Still enjoys being athletic

Okay okay I have two weird ideas, tell me which one you like.

1. Felix has a pet dog, he has had the pet dog for a while, but one time you find a wolf male, a male with wolf ears and a tail well he finds them and he gets told by them he is the dog that Felix has kept, and he was just stuck in that form for a while.

2. A female who was friends with felix before he disapeared, was experimented on and or tortured into submission(or brainwashed) and is now an enemy of felix, felix either does or does not recognize them and they weren't sent to kill felix. He could either save this person to his side, or try and hurt them back.

Name: Celine "Cellie" Jordan
Gender/Pronouns: Female; she/her
Age: 24
Looks: I'm pretty bad with height and weight measurements, but Celine is average-height and has a lithe build. She has long, wavy black hair, fair skin, and green eyes. The majority of her physical scars are on her chest, back, and arms. They range from marks that look like intricate, swirling patterns, to puncture wounds, to parts that were clearly stitched back together, to even some that appear to be lashes. The last ones are the oldest, and there's only a few of them.

Personality: Celine tends to be a bit spacey and sometimes misses common social cues. She's touch-shy with strangers, but will latch onto friends and family like a barnacle. Celine also tends to be wary around strangers, and her family comments that she used to be much more extraverted. She's not unfriendly, just guarded. One of the few people she feels close to is Felix. She gets anxious if left alone, especially in smaller spaces.
Special Ability/Skill: Aside from being incredibly light on her feet, Celine has aquakinesis and the ability to heal herself and allies with water.
Hobbies: Before she went missing, Cellie was a talented figure skater and swimmer. She's tried getting back into swimming, but nearly had a panic attack under the water and hasn't done it since. Now, she mostly tries to reconnect with old friends. She also works on a journal, inside of which she writes down the things she remembers.
Backstory: Celine's backstory isn't very interesting, save for the fact that she went missing when she was fifteen and showed up nine years later, unresponsive in the woods. Her upbringing wasn't anything special; her family was middle-class at best, she went to public school, and her home life was stable.
Other: Cellie's favorite color is blue. She has almost no memory of her life prior to being found. Whether this is because of the things that happened to her in the lab or was caused by trauma is a mystery, though it could very well be both. Celine suffers from nightmares that may or may not be repressed memories and can't stand sleeping in a room by herself.
