Name: Lucrezia Monti Silvestri
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Personality: She's a very charming and agreeable woman, who likes to avoid conflict whenever possible. She's compassionate and kind towards everyone - even towards people who may not deserve it. Her friendly and gentle nature has made her a target for abuse, though, so she's quick to tears whenever something bad happens, or even when something good happens. She can be a bit absent-minded at times, but she means well, and will ask questions or let you know if she accidentally spaced out, all while apologizing profusely. When she sets her mind to a task or goal, she makes sure it gets done. She's very artsy. However, she can be very compulsive at times, making choices that may not always end well for her and always end well for everyone else - basically, very self-sacrificing. She has low self-esteem, but she'll never mention it unless it's forced out of her. When things get to be too much - as in, too many noises all at once - she tends to shut down and go quiet, and this behaviour is what makes people mark her as "shy" whenever she goes to a friend's party; she's gotten better at processing, though. She gets attached very easily, and can basically sacrifice everything she likes and wants for the happiness of the one she's attached to, even going so far as to alienate her friends to please this person. She will go back to someone again and again, in the hopes that they're truly better this time, like they say they are.

Sorry for the long wait, here's my boy:

Name: Rowan Marling
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Panromantic/asexual
Personality: Rowan is an ambivert, although the more he learns about the modern world, the more extroverted he becomes. He's very charismatic and fun, eager to learn about the things around him, and is excited to meet new people. He views life like a gift, and he doesn't understand a lot of things, like why bad things happen in the world or why people are so sad or bored when the world has endless possibilities and so many amazing, wonderful things inside it. He's extremely kind and helpful, and he wants to make people happy. His obliviousness can sometimes lead to him getting in trouble, although he quickly learns from his mistake. Rowan's happy, pure energy is contagious, and he'll do everything he can to make other people feel valued and loved.
Hobbies: Anything that seems remotely interesting, but he has an ironic talent for sculpting
Likes: Food, art, books, learning, nature, people, coffee, music, social media
Dislikes: Pigeons, dogs, being still, cruelty/rudeness, seeing people upset
Appearance: (I can't access Pinterest while at school, so here is a sorry attempt at a description instead) Rowan is remarkably attractive, with short, silky, curly brown hair, warm brown eyes that seem to shine whenever he finds something exciting (which is basically everything), and a beautiful bronze skin tone. He's muscular, stands at 5'12", weighs 135 pounds, and has a dazzling smile that is infectious. His voice is very melodic and he's well-spoken despite his severe lack of education
Outfit/Aesthetic: He has major dark academia vibes, although that contrasts greatly with his newfound obsession for hoodies, sweatpants, and soft/warm clothing in general
Conditions (Mental/Physical): Being a statue his entire life, he doesn't know how to properly walk at first, and his knowledge of the world is incredibly limited which has made others see him as mentally retarded (not in an insulting way, he's just slow to understand things at first but he learns very quickly so that misunderstanding goes away pretty quickly)

Let me know if I need to add or change anything!

Lucrezia was giggling quietly as she made her way towards the most famous statue in the world, located in Germany.

There were rumours surrounding the statue, that once its hand got touched by its true love, it would come to life. Or at least let you find the love of your life. Nobody really knows for sure.

But she still wanted to go see it, because it was supposedly stunningly gorgeous. She was a sucker for good art and pretty things, so of course if something combined the two, well. . . what's not to love?

So here she was. In the middle of the most famous German plaza in the world, which held the world's most beautiful and mysterious statue.

She motions for one of the nearby street photographers and pulls out 25 Euros - my, so expensive, but maybe they need it to make a life later! - and hands them over to the photographer.

She steps up to the statue, and takes its hand. It felt strangely warm and alive beneath her touch, not at all like stone.

Then a man falls into her arms.

She looked around, not quite comprehending the situation. All motion in the plaza had stopped, quieted, and the photographer looked stunned before snapping a dozen photos - 11 more than what Lucrezia had paid for, actually - and keeps the crowd at bay, allowing Lucrezia to, with effort, pick up the boy into a princess carry and start getting him home.

@phantomflame

Rowan couldn't quite comprehend much of anything that was happening around him.

All he knew was that one minute, there was the silence and darkness that had encompassed him all of his life, and the next minute he was falling into someone's arms, with bright lights flashing right into his face, blinding him. The sudden onslaught of sounds and smells overwhelmed him to the point that he wasn't able to do anything except close his eyes and allow himself to be carried by the stranger who he fell into.

At some point, he regains enough control over himself to move his fingers, the movement of them foreign and peculiar. The fact that he was able to feel his heartbeat and hear himself breathe was surreal in itself too.

Rowan manages to open his eyes and blink, staring at the sky and passing buildings in wonder. Colors that he didn't know the names of yet surround him, making him momentarily forget that he needed to breathe.

He finally looks up at the face of the person carrying him, and he feels his heart skip a beat, which he wasn't sure was a normal thing for it to do or not.

"Hello," he tries to say, but he could only manage to do a strangled whisper since he didn't know how to properly speak yet. He didn't even know what 'Hello' meant, but he felt like he had heard that word before; sometimes bits and pieces of conversation managed to get through the silence and darkness of the stone, and Rowan was able to hear and catch a glimpse of the world he had never been able to see. He didn't know why he was able to be free of his solitude and stillness now, but one of the few things he did know was that he was able to explore the world now, and this mesmerizing stranger has something to do with that.

Lucrezia looks down on occassion at the boy who had, up until recently, been a statue, who was now in her arms.

The statue. she thinks to herself, looking down when she feels something brush against her arm - the boy's fingers.

She watches as he opens his eyes and nearly stops dead in her tracks because damn, he had beautiful eyes. Actually, he was even more beautiful now that he was human.

Lucrezia smiles down at the boy, a kind smile.

"Hey, good morning. Do you have a name?" she asks. Her voice was naturally soft, and people usually described it as what the feel of soft fur or velvet on skin would sound like. It was melodic and rythmic, quiet and soothing. The voice of an angel. But she was merely human, just a very pretty one.

@phantomflame

It took a moment for Rowan to process the question. He's too busy staring up at her, his eyes flickering over every detail of her face, from the way the sunlight hit her hair in a way that made it look like a halo, to the beautiful, gentle look in those dreamy eyes, and last but not least, to that lovely smile, which immediately made him feel like he would be safe from all harm.

And that voice. He wondered if this was what an angel was. He had heard the term whispered in his presence before, but he was convinced that the one carrying him was one herself.

"Rowan," he replies, his voice sounding a lot stronger and melodic than it did before.

He smiles back up at her, tilting his head curiously. "What's your name, angel?"

A small little voice in the back of Rowan's mind brought forth the question of whether he was heavy, or if she needs to put him down, but like a toddler, he didn't know how to phrase questions or even walk just yet, so he decides to keep silent for now. He had a limited vocabulary, anyways.

@False-andrew flash_on

"Rowan?" Lucrezia repeats, the word falling from her lips like the highest note of an angelic choir: perfect and musical. "My name is Lucrezia. And I'm not an angel. I'm simply a human girl."

She was hooked on the notes of Rowan's voice, like caramel and honey were turned into musical noise.

"If it's okay with you, I'm bringing you home, to take care of you." she says. "I'm fine carrying you all the way to the train. They have beds, so I can set you down and we can talk. Alright?"

@phantomflame

"You look like an angel," Rowan murmurs, although in his head he repeats the girl's name over and over again. Lucrezia. It certainly sounded like a name a heavenly creature would have.

He takes a moment to respond, staring blankly at her. What's a train? he wonders. Or a bed?
"Alright," he manages to repeat, too overloaded with the things around him to voice his questions.

@False-andrew flash_on

"One could say the same of you, you know. And anyone would believe it." Lucrezia laughs quietly. She had a wispy, breathless sort of laugh.

She sees the look of confusion on Rowan's face and realizes that, having been a statue for who knows how long, he wouldn't know what a train is. Possibly wouldn't know what a bed is, either.

"You don't understand the meanings of most words, do you?" she asks kindly.

@phantomflame

Rowan shakes his head, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment, both at her compliment and his lack of knowledge.

"No, I'm sorry," he says quietly, looking down at his hands. He was silent for a moment before a thought floated to the top of his head and he couldn't resist asking. "Um, why are you helping me? And why am I not a statue anymore?"

@False-andrew flash_on

Lucrezia's own cheeks flush when Rowan's do. She didn't particularly know why.

"It's okay. I'll help you learn." she smiles kindly.

"Because it wouldn't be right to just leave you in the middle of a crowded city with no knowledge of where you are. And I'm not sure why exactly you aren't a statue anymore. I just touched your hand and then 'poof!' Instant living person." she replies quietly.

@phantomflame

"Thank you," he says, genuinely meaning it.

He notices that there seem to be fewer people around them, and he wonders if that's because they were getting further away from the middle of what she describes as a crowded city.

"Does that happen to other statues too?" he asks, looking back up at Lucrezia.

@False-andrew flash_on

Lucrezia nods. "You're welcome, Rowan."

"Not from what I know. And I know none of them are as beautiful as you. Do you know how long you were a statue?" she asks.

@phantomflame

Rowan smiles at her compliment, still blushing.

He shakes his head again. "All I've ever known was silence and darkness. At least, until I met you."

@False-andrew flash_on

Lucrezia nods thoughtfully, but blushes. "I'm not that bright."

She looks down at Rowan.

"Hey, are you hungry?" she asks, ashamed she hadn't thought to ask as soon as he'd opened his eyes.

@phantomflame

"You are," Rowan insists, his smile becoming more friendly as he begins to feel more relaxed with her.

"And what is 'hungry'?" he asks curiously. Just as the words leave his mouth, he feels a sharp pain in his gut and a loud, growling sound coming from his stomach.
Rowan stares at himself in alarm, his heart pounding. "What was that? Are not-statue people supposed to do that?" he asks, panic entering his voice.

@False-andrew flash_on

"I'm just a human girl!" Lucrezia protests.

"Hungry is that feeling you get when you haven't eaten any food for a while and your stomach-" she starts to explain, before giggling at the growl and Rowan's expression. "Yes, not-statue people are supposed to do that. That is hunger."
