Unsure where too put this but here seems like an okay spot.

So my characters have to go through some trials and stuff and I want one of them to be less of a physical "find this" or "fight me" and have a tests of character, values, morals…something along these lines.

Problem is that I have no brain bubble what it should be since I'm already having character's face their greatest fears later on and now I'm blanking on what to make them face. In particular I want my character Otis to have to take this test (I'll link his page below in case it helps) since he's more nervous and has a hard time facing his own bad sides but still it doesn't give brain bubbles.

Hope this makes sense and if you need me to explain more I'm happy to help.

Old post but here's an answer if you're still interested.
Have him face his own selfishness, instead of fears. Give him a chance to benefit, but at someone else's expense, and see if he takes the bait. Maybe put him in a position to show mercy, but it'll cost him something, and he has to decide if he will be self-sacrificing. Test his honesty. Put him in a situation where lying doesn't hurt anyone but it's still lying, and see what he does. These are ways to test a characters moral fiber that don't revolve around fear, so you can leave facing fear for later.
