Okay, so I know I'm referencing Guns n Roses in the title, but this is actually based more on the album American Idiot by Green Day, and my own ideal rewrite of the musical adaptation because the vibes have been floating around my head rent-free.
Three teenagers each escape their own suburban hellhole for the city. While there, they find themselves clumsily navigating the Underground, until they catch the eye of the mysterious, respected, and sometimes feared, Saint Jimmy, who decides to take these lost little misfits under their leather wing.
Saint Jimmy is obviously based on the song St. Jimmy, the other three are based on different parts of Jesus Of Suburbia
(I basically copied and pasted my general vibe for each character from the doc I'm using to write this, you're very much allowed to change details such as backstory, gender, etc as you see fit, this is me throwing spaghetti at the wall)
City Of The Damned- A sweet and fairly soft-spoken girl, who has developed the unfortunate habit of making sure no one else knows what she's feeling. Her plot focuses mainly on learning to trust more. TAKEN BY me
I Don’t Care- He wants you to think he is a glam metal, unshakeable rock star. He is not. He’s a dork who is so desperate for love, that he doesn’t actually know how to enforce his own boundaries. Most of his plot is trying to unlearn all of that. He’s good for faking vulnerability to others TAKEN BY @imNOTdenki
Dearly Beloved- He tries to hide his exhaustion as a hangover, but it’s really from being made to take on a paternal role when he was way too young, and being shoved aside for the younger kids when someone did come to relieve him of his duties. If he is visibly tired, he jokes he headbanged too hard to whatever thrash metal he was listening to so whoever asks shuts up about it. Half his plot is just trying to get him to actually focus on himself for once. TAKEN BY @Tired-but-passionate
Saint Jimmy- A mysterious figure in the underground, Jimmy is equal parts feared and respected. No one really knows what the hell they are, gender-wise, but they slip between any role easily, taking on whatever they think is most comforting to the person they are with. They can play the part of comforting and affectionate mother, stern protective father, and weird older cousin who told you about lavender town syndrome when you were nine equally well. While generally well-meaning, they can easily lead someone they want to help down the same self-destructive paths they walk. TAKEN BY @FanfictionFanatic
