Street fighting in Constance City is very common. There are so many people who participate that the authorities can't do anything about it, and have given up trying. Street fighting has grown, and now people are fighting in groups of three, the supposed magical number. Most of the groups aren't very harmful, but the really good ones own entire sections of the city, and rule their domains with angry vengeance.
The Silver Guardians are probably the most powerful of the street fighting groups in the history of the city. Powerful, ruthless and cunning, they beat every foe with a brutal ease. There are many who want to take down the Guardians… but for one problem.
No one knows who the members are. They are always masked, and disguise their voices. So no one knows who they are. Any of them.
It's become quite a problem, as the Silver Guardians now owns most of the city. And many people, powerful people, want the name and the fame. They are willing to do anything to get the Guardians… anything
But first, they have to find out who they are.
And it won't be easy.
Seph sat at her desk, fiddling with her pencil, trying her best to drown out the professor’s droning lecture. She was bored, very much so. What on earth had possessed her to sign up for this class? It was horrible and boring, and she didn’t want to take it any more. But she had to. For credit, she had to.
She sighed, laying her head on her desk. College sucked. She’d rather be anywhere else than here.
Her phone chirped, and she glanced at it. It was one of those dumb news notifications. She was going to ignore it, until she heard the whispering from behind her as the news spread to her classmates.
”Really?” “Are you sure?” “They’re really fighting tonight, then?”
The teacher suddenly stopped talking.he glanced down at his phone, and then smiled, a rare thing for him to do. “Since you all are talking, I assume you’ve heard the news?” He said. “It seems as if there will be a fight today, between Kalamai County’s Nightwalkers and our Silver Guardians!” He smiled. “Of course, the Guard will win. They’re the best.”
“What’s so cool about a bunch of foreigners, anyway?” Someone asked. “We may not know the real identities of the Iron Guard, but at least we know that they don’t have ulterior motives.”
“Yeah.” The class started talking about the oncoming fight, completely forgetting the lecture. The teacher chimed in, and everyone was chattering.
Seph smiled. What they didn’t know was that a member of the Guardians themselves was right there in the room. She picked up her phone and sent a text to her teammate. Did you guys know we were fighting tonight? She asked.
