Name: Theodore Jackson Caddel
Nickname(s): Teddy/Theo
Age: 25
Gender: Male (He/Him)
Occupation: He’s self-employed, working as an artist and earning money from commissions and such. Drawing as long as he could remember, it was always clear that art would play some sort of a role in his life, even though he couldn’t see it himself until later on. Being indecisive and oblivious, it took him many years to realize that he wanted to pursue art as a career. He tried out many jobs such as graphic design, video game studios, and even animation work, but the stress and deadlines always got to him. In the end, after years of polishing his style, he finally found what suited him best.
Physical appearance: Standing at roughly 5’10, he’s average in height. His hair was a bright red for many years, and is still, though it’s beginning to grow out and expose his blond roots. (he’s reminded himself to redye it countless times, and it always slips his mind every time he goes out shopping.) He has dark brown eyes accompanied by solid features- a slight roman nose, a sharp jaw, and a bit of peach fuzz along his jaw. He’s quite pale, a side effect from staying inside admittedly much more than he should. With his line of work, though, it was hard to avoid. (Jokes circulated through many friends lovingly dubbing him a vampire. He found it amusing, if not hitting a bit too close to home every time he thought about it.)
Usual apparel: His usual apparel is quite out there, often dressing in leather jackets, chokers, rings; generally edgy and dark attire. He’s used to getting strange looks any time he went out in public dressed as such, though after a few years of this, he’s learned to tune it out. (Occasionally, though, his anxiety will get the best of him and he’ll panic a bit.) Platform boots and dark colors are his jam, his closet almost entirely blacks and grays. He’s attempted to spice it up many times, though every colorful piece of clothing he had ended up rebranded as pajamas. He didn’t mind, though; he was quite happy with how he looked, anyway.
Personality: From his appearance, many people get the wrong first impression. As his nickname would imply, he’s quite soft and huggable past the leather and sharp features. He is a big animal lover, always reduced to high-pitched cooing noises any time he lays eyes on one. He’s hyper fixated on many topics during his life, though animals always held a special place in his heart. Along with various cinematic universes and a few characters that he loved more than life itself, of course. He’s spent many nights sobbing his eyes out over worlds that don’t even exist, then resumed his cheerful attitude without any problem the next morning. After all, as painful as it was, the emotional roller coaster and highs he got from it all were definitely worth it to him. He’s the type of friend to invite you over for a casual lunch and then you’d end up staying over for three nights in a row to marathon the entire Lord of The Rings series.
Habits/mannerisms: From a young age he fidgeted near constantly, whether it be biting his shirt collar, picking at his fingernails, or twisting the hem of his shirt around his fingers. Whatever it was, he could hardly ever sit still as a child. This stuck around into his teen and adult years, though dialing down a bit. Being diagnosed with ADHD helped him feel more at peace with his mannerisms as well, almost never feeling the need to hide them anymore.
Other: He and his partner Jamie Lewis have been dating for roughly eight months, though they’d been friends for much longer. They stand at a slightly shorter height than him- probably around 5’8 if he had to guess- with dark brown hair to their shoulders and piercing green eyes. They worked at the local zoo, a spunky and outgoing sweetheart with a passion for nature. As wonderful as his partner was, Teddy had always had slight issues with telling romantic and platonic attraction apart, often shoving himself into romantic relationships as soon as someone confessed they had feelings for him. He’s recognized this problem as of late, though, and is beginning to come to terms with the fact that he might never have loved them as a partner but more as a best friend.
