“‘30’ Days.
Is it a long period of time?
Is it… a significant period of time?
It depends on what happens during those thirty days, right?
Well… let’s make your ‘30’ days more interesting.
Project ‘30’ aims to make your boring disgrace of life more colorful with friendly challenges for you to do.
However, because it is still in prototype, we are looking for one specific and lucky participant only.
Interested?
Please answer this voicemail with your real name and the message ‘I’m ready’, and let’s change the ‘30’ days ahead together, shall we?
Boring daily life… will be no more,”
This was the voicemail from an unknown email address sent to you. You couldn’t figure out who had sent the email, all you had, was this file of this distorted voicemail. It was ominous, maybe as ominous as some of the creepy pasta stories you’ve read during your time alone. It was tempting… to reply to the Project, that was. There was no telling what was going to happen. How it was going to end. Maybe, just maybe, that was the purpose of it all.

murder, rape, gore, abuse, physical harm, mental disorders, and just overall fucked up stuff—

(Yeah I've checked it lol. I believe I can deal with all of that just fine.)

Name : Jasper Moon
Age : 24
Gender : Male (He/Him)
Physical Appearance : Our friend stands exactly at six foot one and weighing around one hundred fifty-four pounds. For having a rectangular mesomorphic build, he is relatively lean and skinny. His eyes are a dark chocolate brown which contrasts with his warm ivory colored skin. Jasper likes to part his auburn hair to the right and keep it as neat as possible. He does have his ears pierced, but he only wears earrings when he is not at work. Below his right eye is a small scar he had gotten when he was six years old; he doesn't remember how he got it though.
Personality : Jasper is a quiet laid-back kind of person. He mostly just keeps to himself unless he is around people he's close to then he'll open up just a bit. Pretty self-sufficient, never really going to anyone for anything. Typically he prefers to be away from any crowds or anything dealing with a boat load of people. It is hard for him to be able to express himself in a way that can be understandable towards others; he's always worrying that no one is going to understand or listen to him. Nevertheless, Jasper is a normal good person. Maybe a little bit curious, and potentially daring, than the average person, but he has heart.
Others : Jasper has a paid internship as an assistant till he can find an actual job. Also he has a black cat named Darcy.
(So sorry for the wait. Here he is, let me know if I need to change or add anything. Other than that, I'm ready!)
(Definitely stalking this…)
(Aight!)
You woke up one day on a rather average and boring morning. The sun outside was annoying as usual and there wasn’t anything else to give you joy other than Darcy sleeping at the end of the bed, curled up like a cinnamon roll. You found yourself being sent an email with a voicemail file attached. The voice in the file seemed to have been a distorted male voice, most likely from a man name ‘Aki’, claiming something about a ‘30 day experimental project’ where Jasper was ‘lucky’ enough to have had the opportunity to join. They only wanted an ‘I’m ready’ from Jasper it would seem.
Jasper sat at his computer desk staring at the laptop screen. Over and over he played the voicemail clicking it again once it ended. Part of him wondered if this was even real. Wouldn't be too surprising if someone just sent this as a prank. On the other hand, why the hell would someone send something so perplexing yet oddly intriguing? Is it too early to be freaking out over this? He hasn't even considered saying yes to this email. And how they even got his email address is a complete mystery to him.
The next ten minutes he spent were nothing but him pacing around the bedroom pondering. He kept biting his thumb while staring at the wooden floor. Part of him does want to say yes to see what could happen. The other wants to ignore it, delete it, and forget about it. This email really might be apart of something and it might be terrible. Being part of it will only make things darker for him and maybe everyone else. But, whoever this Aki is decided to send it to Jasper, him, no one else. There has to be a reason why.
With his hands on his hips, he stared out the window. Yeah, maybe he will say yes to it. Maybe whatever happens in those thirty days will blow over and actually be helpful. Will it? Jasper groaned as he sat down on the floor. Darcy woke up only to come by then fall asleep in his owner's lap. Picking the cat up, Jasper held him gently while staring into those yellow feline eyes. "Even if I do something unknown and outrageous, will I still be the same me?", he asked. The cat just blinked once very slowly before wiggling out of his grasp.
Fine. Jasper got up then went back to the laptop. Sitting down, he glanced back over at the cat. Darcy sat across from him, just staring and blinking at him. He turned back and clicked to make a new email. "Jasper Moon.", he typed into his response, "I'm ready."
Immediately, as Jasper sent his response, a reply came from the same email; Aki’s.
“Thank you for your cooperation, Jasper Moon. We will be beginning this project at exactly 9 AM. Please feel free to read through the rules whilst waiting. Once again, thank you, and have a good first day.” the email said. There was still a solid half an hour before it was time to start.
It came in a heartbeat. Well, there's no way to get out of it now. He skimmed through the rules once. Each one of them was practically the same aside from the last; don't mention the project to anyone. Should be easy for him, except he still has Darcy. That rule about not telling pets made no sense to him. It's just a cat, although sometimes he wonders if the fur ball is actually listening to him like it was a human in a past life or something. Guess he'll have to follow each rule as carefully as possible.
Nine o'clock, just exactly thirty minutes left. Thankfully he got the day off to figure this out. Jasper picked up his phone setting an alarm for nine then set it down. He decided to just go about with his regular morning routine. Feed the cat, brush his teeth, take a shower, get dressed, eat, and do some work. While his mind was trying to be fixated on other things, it still kept going back to the project. Regret started to settle in as he put on a t-shirt, it faded in and out constantly till the alarm went off.
He stopped. "Oh lord please help me.", he muttered under his breath. His heartbeat accelerated as his eyes shot over at the laptop waiting for another email. Jasper picked up a pen and began to fiddle with it.
And an email did come.
”Let’s start with an easy one. Put on a mask and head outside, find a street vendor and buy something from them. Remember to say ‘thank you’. Oh, and, bring your phone,” the email said. The email’s ‘command’ was easy enough.
Right now, at this time, street vendors were just starting to come out and set up their shops. There were many choices for Jasper to make; whether it be clothes, food, drinks, or whatever. He could decide when he’s down there.
