@Dayzed forum

jdhfghjs okay!! i'll get my character up as soon as i'm not so busy (so maybe later tonight!) i'm very excited to see who you bring to the table :D

@Dayzed forum

(alright, here she is, i hope she's alright :))

Name: Aster Amaru Satori
Nickname: Star, Amore
Age: 18
Gender: Cis Female
Pronouns: She/Her
Sexuality: Lesbian
Race: Human, Italian/American

Appearance: Aster has almond round eyes, gunmetal blue that is a very pale blue, mixing with a bit of gray. Her eyes are pretty relaxed and calm, sometimes they look slightly pissed off, but that's normal for the family she comes from. Her eyes usually show indifference, not being too serious about anything, even in situations that are detrimental to her well-being. It takes a lot to shake her, as she was raised by the best.
She has a button nose and a moderately short bridge, thin from the weight loss. Her face is also very thin, though in recent years she's gotten a little bit more fat around the sides of her face, her jawline being prominent for the same reasons. Aster's lips are medium-full, nothing too exaggerated, but also a little plump and small.

Aster has long raven-black hair that comes down to the midsection of her back. Her hair is silky and wavy, something she got from her mother. She likes to leave it down naturally, given that she's not a fan of putting her hair into braids or elaborate hairstyles. The only exception is when she's out doing something that involves running, then she'll put her hair up in a high ponytail, wisps of hair falling to frame her face. She tucks the strands behind her ears though since they get in the way.
Aster has considered cutting her hair, but she loves her long hair too much to just chop it off into something short.
Aster weighs 118 lbs and stands at 5'7, so on the ectomorph side of things, almost to the point of being underweight since she has been recovering for the past few years. She has porcelain skin almost looking like a ghost in the dark, a sort of milky white appearance to her complexion, very sickly in nature. Aside from this, she has light freckles on her face, something she shares in common with her brother Jake.

Clothes: Likes to wear darker colors, her style is a mix of goth and punk rock like her brother. She wears anything from short skirts to skinny ripped jeans, crop tops, band t-shirts, high heels, black chunky sneakers, and boots. Chokers, bracelets with spikes on them, thick double-holed belts, fishnets, eyeliner but nothing too big or dramatic, just to accentuate her eyes.

Condition(s): Recovered Anorexic, Depression, PTSD

Personality: Is a bit sassy and snappy at times, can come off as rude, but doesn't make it a habit to be mean to anyone. She's the type of person who'll stand by and watch someone get hurt if she doesn't know them, but if it's someone who she's close with she won't think twice about getting her hands dirty with blood if necessary. She sort of picks and chooses who's deserving of her help and if you don't make the cut, you won't get any attention from her no matter what. Aside from this, Aster is a kind and outgoing kid but can be a dick sometimes if you manage to tick her off. She's very loyal when she meets new friends and will stick by them if they're worth it, this is something that was taught to her and reinforced over and over again by her brother Jake.
Other than this Aster is mostly silent and likes watching instead of participating, she enjoys a good show from the most toxic of people and while Aster doesn't speak much, when she does, she knows what to say to make someone riled up. She's not afraid to speak her mind and tell someone off if they're annoying.
Aster is more of a realist than a pessimist but has no anxiety over the future if things go wrong, she's pretty chill and laid back, cracking jokes at the wrong time and laughing after she barely dodges death. She's a person that lives life on the edge and loves a good challenge, something that resulted after she came out of her coma. She knows she could die at any given moment and she would rather be impulsive and fun than hide and be scared for the rest of her life.

Background: Aster's mother had an affair with another man, resulting in her getting pregnant and having Aster shortly after Jake was born. They are the two youngest of the family. Aster's father is head of the military, running a position in the government, and is very strict, so when he found out what Aster's mother had done, he was furious. Aster's mother, knowing his anger and what he was capable of, fled and left her four kids behind, including Aster. At this time Aster's father wasn't in his right mind and when he came home, having found out, he took out his anger on Aster which resulted in a hard beating, damaging her head, leaving her in a coma for the longest time. She was nine at the time, and the secret wasn't supposed to get out, but Aster's mother had involved herself with one of her husband's friends who then told Aster's father during a fight they had.

Jake never gave up on Aster and would be by her side whenever he could, paying for her medical bills and whatnot. At age twelve Aster woke up from her coma and was severely malnourished, and instead of getting better, she got worse, which meant she had to spend time in an actual hospital instead of her room at home with the machines that had kept her alive this whole time. During Aster's coma, she was used against her brother when he would step out of line. Because Aster meant everything to Jake, he did as he was told, he didn't want anything to happen to Aster, and since he held out until she woke up he was able to save her in the end.
A year later, slowly but surely, she got better, though she was still very underweight, it's something she struggles with even to this day.

Because Aster comes from a family that works directly with the government, she decided to join a group to defy her father after what happened with him and Jake, so she works for an underground organization, and lives alone. Her father is currently trying to find her after knowing that she is involved in something illegal, but he hasn't yet.

Folders were thrown onto the table. Four of them were spread out, each one with a name on it. Aster looked at the names, she couldn't choose one based of off names alone, but she knew that no matter what, all of these people would be held for ransom. Some killed off if the demands were not met. It was the hard truth for the organization she worked for. They didn't kidnap people often, only when they were low on money and it seemed that this time they were really desperate to be targeting four people at once.

Aster scanned the names. Lisette Calvert, Fleur Vieux, Chernobyl Lovette, and Takuma (last name unknown). She sighed, they all had fancy names because of course they did. The one that stuck out to her the most though was Fleur Vieux, the last name reminded her of someone, someone who she didn't like, so she went with that one.

"This one," She said grabbing the folder and opening it. Inside was information on where the girl lived, places she frequented, the school she attended, and information about her parents. Apparently, the girl had moved from France after finishing high school. She lived with her mother currently, but not her father, her father had stayed behind in France.
Aster looked at the blurry picture someone had taken without being noticed. Blonde hair and a thin frame. Her clothing style was that of someone who could afford more than they knew what to do with. Aster scoffed. She had no sympathy for the rich folk. As her brother had always said: Eat The Rich.

The other three people there also took one of the rest of the folders and reviewed the contents inside. Aster was slightly curious to know who the others were, but this was a job. There was no time to be curious, she had to focus on her target and that was it.
With that Aster got up, she never talked with the others unless they were on a job together and she wasn't about to start now. So she left. She'd scout out where the girl was currently and follow her for a while before she found an opportunity to get her alone. If she needed back up she had the other member's phone numbers, but she was more than confident she could take on the girl.

"Maman!" Fleur called out, digging through her closet furiously. She was looking for something specific for the day's wear. Oh my, God! I hope I packed it! she thought worriedly, shoving aside a hanger full of scarves. "Merde… (Dammit…)" she muttered under her breath, taking a step back from her clothes and placing her hands on her curvy hips. "Maman!"

"Oui?" came the response at last. It echoed up the stairs, followed by the sound of heels that signaled the arrival of her mother. "Que veux-tu, ma fille? (What do you want, my girl?)" she demanded, a knowing smirk on her rouge lips. Even if she wasn't going anywhere for the day, Selene Vieux loved to look fabulous.

"Je ne trouve pas mon chemisier. Celui avec les cordes? Du Festival de Cannes l'an dernier? (I can't find my blouse. The one with the strings? From the Cannes Film Festival last year?)" She mimed the motion of pulling a blouse string by her breast, and her mother's eyes lit up with recognition.

"Oui oui. Vous l'avez emballé. Je me souviens, (Yes, yes. You packed it. I remember,)" Selene assured her, looking through the closet in front of them. "Tu as tellement emballé ma chérie. (You packed so much, my darling.)"

"Eh bien, j'ai trop emballé, et maintenant je ne le trouve pas, (Well, I packed too much, and now I can't find it,)" Fleur griped. She crossed her arms and sighed tiredly. She was exhausted from it all – leaving her friends, leaving her father, moving to across an ocean, living in a new country, learning a new language, and missing everything that she held dear.

She was stunned out of her thoughts by her mother's familiarity. At least in all this, Fleur had her mother.

"Où allez-vous que vous en avez besoin? (Where are you going that you need it?)" Selene asked, gently stroking Fleur's soft hair.

"Je viens juste de prendre un café. Peut-être au cinéma, (Just out for coffee. Maybe to the cinema,)" Fleur answered, reaching in and selecting another top, this one cream colored. Pairing it with a light brown skirt and stilettos wouldn't look half-bad. Still, she wished hopelessly for her other Cannes-experienced top. She'd gotten many stares that day.

Selene cooed and squeezed Fleur in a tight hug. For a wiry woman, she was very strong. "Mon petit critique de cinéma. (My little film critic.)"

"Maman," Fleur whined quietly. "Je dois me changer. (I have to get changed.)"

"Bien sûr bien sûr, (Of course of course,)" Selene replied, releasing Fleur and heading back toward the stairs to get back to whatever it was that she had been doing. "Je t'aime. (I love you.)"

"Je t'aime aussi, (I love you too,)" Fleur called back, slipping into her outfit once her mother was out of sight. Soon enough, she was heading down the sidewalk, Prada sunglasses shielding her eyes from the sunny day.

Aster opened the door to find herself in a back alley. It was a small street area behind the arcade that was in front of the main street. The place had been used for years by her brother and his friends. It gave her a lot of heartache as she knew she'd never see him again. It mildly angered her, but there was fear behind that anger as well. Fear that her father would find her and take her in just to finish the job. Part of her wanted to put a bullet into his head for taking away the one person who had sacrificed everything for her, the other part of her wanted to get as far away from him as possible.
Aster opened the folder and flipped through the pages, reading as she walked down the alleyway and into the main street. She skimmed the places the girl frequented and arched an eyebrow when she saw the coffee place down the street where Aster would sometimes go to get an affogato. It was more of a desert than anything else but Aster enjoyed the variety they brought to the shop.

"Good taste…" She muttered to herself, but that didn't change the fact that she had to bring this girl in. What they would do with her was beyond Aster. Maybe torture her a little, let the parents hear her screams to pressure them into giving in. The authorities being called was a high possibility but if they didn't know where they were located then there was no point. They wouldn't find them.
Aster soon made her way to the address, now all she had to figure out was what she was going to do. How was she going to approach this girl? Would she stalk her and kidnap her unexpectedly, or slowly get close to her only to lure her into the trap? Maybe a combination of both? Aster thought.
Once at the residence, she hid behind some bushes and watched the place. Not that anything was happening…yet.
Okay. She would go up to the door and ring the doorbell, the place looked intimidating as it looked like there would be cameras around, but Aster tried to talk herself into going. Before she could do that though, the door opened and someone came out. She had blonde hair, just like the girl in the picture, though it looked like more a white color with very little yellow pigment to it.
Seeing the girl for the first time in person, Aster found herself freezing. She was going to kidnap an innocent person. Not something she would have thought she'd be doing in her late teen years, but here she was.
It was right then and there that Aster hesitated. She would stalk first, then find an opening to talk to her, right now, as things were, it seemed too unnatural. Targetted. She'd wait.

Fleur pursed her lips and adjusted the brim of her hat so it covered more of her face. It was a gorgeous, sunny day, and with fair skin like hers, she would easily burn. And she wasn’t about to let that happen.

Although she and her mother each had a car (bought by her father’s money), Fleur usually preferred to walk. It reminded her more of Paris than it did when she drove. Also, she was wearing three inch Manolo Blahnik heels. Not ideal for driving.

Suddenly, her phone chimed with a phone call. She dug through her Michael Kors bag and retrieved her phone. The smile that lit up her face when she saw the name on her screen was bright and full of excitement.

It was Noémie Allard, her best friend that she’d left behind to move to America.

Bonjour ma chérie! Comment vas-tu? (Hello my dear! How are you?)”

She listened to the response, still smiling. Her mouth dropped open in fake-offense, even though whoever she was talking to couldn’t see.

Non, bien sûr que non! Je ne pourrais jamais t'oublier! Je serai de retour à Paris avant que vous puissiez dire… (No, of course not! I could never forget about you! I’ll be back in Paris before you can say…)”

Fleur trailed off in giggles as the person on the other line finished her sentence for her.

Oh la vache! (Literal translation: “Oh the cow,” but French people say it with the ‘American’ meaning “Oh my God”)” she cried out. “Arrête d'être si dramatique, tu me mets dans l'embarras! (Stop being so dramatic, you’re embarrassing me!)”

The Frenchgirl listened and giggled again before she realized that she’d reached the door to the coffee shop. She paused just outside to finish her conversation.

Donne à Étienne mon amour. Et Théa aussi. Et Mathéo et Éliott. Et Lucas et Henri! (Give Étienne my love. And Théa too. And Mathéo and Éliott. And Lucas and Henri!)” She grinned as she added, “Surtout Étienne. (Especially Étienne.)”

Another pause, this one short.

Oui. Bisous ma chérie. Tu me manques terriblement. Bonne nuit. (Kisses my dear. I miss you terribly. Good night.)”

With that, Fleur slipped her phone back into her bag and entered the shop, waiting patiently behind another customer in front of her.

Aster watched curiously as someone contacted the girl. Her facial expression was bright, like someone who knew no hardship, but Aster knew better than to judge someone by how they looked or seemed.
She silently followed the girl, reaching into her beat-up backpack for her headphone which she promptly put on and blasted music from her phone. She didn't know who the person on the other end of the line was and Aster had no interest in knowing either, it's not like she could understand anyways. Though, if she knew that many people already, she couldn't exactly swoop in and bag the girl.
Aster paused when she went into the coffee shop. The girl had been too distracted to realize someone had been following her, though, Aster always made sure to keep her distance from whoever she was following, she didn't need anyone catching onto her so soon, it would only complicate things.
The more Aster watched the girl, the more she realized that this was going to be hard. Not the kidnapping part, but the part where she tricked an innocent girl about her age to go to a place that was filled with pain. God. It was times like these that she regretted working for the organization. If it was an old man, this wouldn't be a problem.
Aster ran across the street to the other side where the girl had been walking and opened the door to the shop getting in line behind Fleur.
Once the line moved up and it was Fleur's turn, Aster noted the order for future reference, not that such a thing was meaningful in her job, but if she wanted to win over Fleur, what else was better than to take mental notes of what the other likes?

When it was Aster's turn finally she froze. She had been too caught up in listening to the conversation between Fleur and the guy behind the counter to think about what she wanted. She could have simply come in to sat down without getting anything but a coffee also sounded nice right now.
"Yes uhm, one moment…" She quickly scanned the menu. "Could I get a regular iced coffee?" She said, panicking about what she wanted and settling for that.
She glanced over to the girl, not being able to help, and take a closer look.
After her order was placed she waited beside the counter, standing instead of sitting down. Aster was dressed in all black, so she got a few dirty looks from older women who didn't exactly approve of the color choice or the revealing style that showed some of her chest area and the majority of her legs.
One of the women talked in hushed tones, but it was clear it was about Aster as they were staring at her. She rolled her eyes.
Whatever, she wasn't here to pick a fight just yet.

@emilyevewrites group

Fleur beamed kindly at the barista behind the counter. Then she hesitated. She had to speak in English now. "Um… a café viennois, s'il- ah, please?" she said, almost asking in French.

The man nodded and added her order to the register. "Is that everything, ma'am?"

She paused a moment, his words processing in her mind. "Yes."

He told her the total, then grinned. "Can I get a name for the order? And by the way, I love your sunglasses."

"Fleur." Her eyes lit up with an excited smile. "Thank you! It is Prada," she answered, guiding her lunettes de soleil down over her eyes again for a moment before perching them in her hair again.

The two struck up a friendly conversation about designer sunglasses while Fleur's card was processed, and he handed it back to her with a smile.

Fleur slipped into a seat and began texting Noémie even though they'd just hung up. She eventually looked up again and noticed a girl waiting beside the counter was getting dirty looks from other women in the shop. This made Fleur uncomfortable and angry. Shouldn't women be supporting other women? Well, maybe women from the same century at least.

The Frenchgirl frowned, and without hesitation, she stood up and approached the girl at the counter. "I love your outfit," she said, in English and loud enough that all the gossipers could hear. She turned to look over her shoulder at them and spat a brief comment in their direction. "Black is in this season, don't you know?" With that, she looked back at the girl and smiled. "You look like a Vogue model," she enthused, winking knowingly like the two of them were sharing a joke.

@Dayzed forum

Aster had heard the whole transaction and mentally thought about rolling her eyes. The whole conversation had no substance to it, why small talk? She never understood that, nothing meaningful came out of it. Then again, Aster wasn't a conversationalist herself, and talking to others for the hell of it was something she avoided at all costs. Besides, it was her job to gather information and anyone that didn't give it to her was immediately dismissed in her mind. She had been in this business for years now and this is how she was trained.
Curiously enough she found Fleur's style to be quite pretty, she looked very chic and Aster knew why, she wasn't a fan of people who held a lot of money, maybe she was just bitter deep down and held a grudge for growing up in poverty. It was all thanks to their stupid father who had gotten too greedy and held even the last penny to himself. The thought brought on a moment of anger as she eyed the older ladies who were talking about her. Aster thought about sizing them up, telling them to piss off, but before she could do a sweet voice pipped up.

Aster had no idea what was going on until the girl approached her and commented on her outfit. A deep shade of red spread on her cheeks, the bridge of her nose dusted with the same color.
The women, knowing what Fleur was doing, went silent, only watching, glaring, as they knew it was targeted at them. One of them scoffed and went back to talking, though their conversation seemed to drop on Aster's appearance.
Aster's steel blue eyes landed on her victim, they seemed still and unphased by the interaction, but then a small side smile appeared on her face. Her eyes seemed to study Fleur. Again. Never judge a book by its cover.
"Thanks," Aster said softly. "Those women should be thankful for you or they would have needed a care team after I was done with them" She commented, though only half joking.

Aster sucked in a breath, small talk. This is when her social skills took a dive, but she had to at least try.
"I also, love, your, uhm, outfit. It's very nice, and colorful, it suits your eyes" Aster mentally cringed at her words. Not for the fact that she had complimented the girl, but because she sounded so awkward.
"My name's Aster" She crossed her arms, guarded, though there was nothing to guard herself against. "What's your name? I haven't seen you around, so you must be new?" Aster questioned, though she knew the answer to that. "Or maybe I just hadn't noticed…" She spoke, her eyes softening some.

@emilyevewrites group

Fleur nodded her acknowledgment. "You are welcome," she said, her voice thickened by her French accent. At Aster's words, her eyes widened. "Oh!" she said with a confused expression beginning to form on her slightly-pallid face. "What do you mean?"

But she quickly forgot about her question when the topic of conversation changed to her outfit. "Merci!" she chirped excitedly. Fleur hardly noticed Aster's awkwardness because she was trying to formulate an English response in her mind. She arched a blonde eyebrow with a small smile. "It is tan et brown, ma cherie. Tan is pas coloré. Not colorful. But that is the point. Monotone, oui? I adore your outfit. Where did you get it?"

The Frenchgirl grinned happily and held her hand out for Aster to shake. "Bonjour, Aster. My name is Fleur. I moved from France with ma mère about… il y a une semaine." She realized too late that she'd spoken in French, and a light blush blossomed on her own face. "A week. One week ago."

@Dayzed forum

Aster also seemed confused by Fleur's thick accent, though that was to be expected, she wasn't from here. Aster's mind worked overtime to try to understand Fleur, being able to pick out certain words, but not connecting others.
"Oh, uhm, right, not colorful, monotone?" She questioned, a small smile making its way onto her lips, seemingly charmed by Fleur's lack of caution when talking to others.
"My outfit?" She looked down to see what she was wearing. Usually, Aster threw on the first thing she saw, she wasn't one to be picky with what she wore, not that she had a lot of clothes, even after three years of saving up, Aster only had enough to buy the bare minimum for her apartment. They didn't get paid a lot even though their job was risky. It was unfortunate. Aster had thought about working in customer service but found that she was not cut out for it.
"I think I thrifted it…" She trailed off. After three years of having the same clothes, she wasn't sure where she had gotten them from, but she did remember thrifting for clothes during that time when she had nothing and was forced to flee her home.
"Like from those discount stores? I found some pretty good stuff there once, haven't been back, but I'm sure they have more" Aster nodded once at her words, as if certain she was right.

When Aster's hand was taken into Fleur's, Aster seemed to get a little flustered, not sure what to do or how to act. This was not what she had signed up for. Maybe approaching Fleur instead of straight ambushing her was not the play.
I know. Aster thought, but obviously, she wouldn't say that.
"Ma mere?" Aster questioned, her American accent not doing the language any justice, though she was able to put two and two together and figured she meant mother, though she wasn't sure.
"One week ago" Aster repeated thoughtfully. Maybe kidnapping this girl after one week of being here was a little too harsh.

After pondering this for a little while, Aster decided that she wouldn't take her in so suddenly, though that would defeat the whole purpose of taking in people for ransom, they needed them now and Aster was painfully aware of that. She sighed tiredly.
"Well, welcome to the states, I'm sure you'll find it to be very pleasant here" or not. "It's very nice to meet you, you seem very lovely," Aster said, a shame really.
Aster smiled. It didn't matter, she would charm the girl, but not get too attached. Attachments always meant the death of you. No one had taught Aster that but she had seen it with her brother and how his attachment to her had gotten him killed. She would not make the same mistake.
"You bought coffee to go, where are you heading next?" She asked, though, trying to get as much information as possible, she bounced to another subject.
"School's going to start soon yeah? Hopefully, it's not as killer as last year" Aster commented, wondering if Fleur would understand her. "Where do you go to school?" She questioned, again, information she already knew, but for the sake of keeping her engaged, she kept talking. The whole small talk was painful to Aster but she kept going. Maybe she'd find other information that wasn't in the folder.

@emilyevewrites group

Fleur giggled and nodded. "Yes. Monotone. It is a popular trend. Very in style. Chic." She tried to slow her words down when speaking, noting Aster's confusion while trying to piece together her words. She felt the same way about understanding Aster.

She tilted her head with curiosity. "Thrift? That is… used clothes, oui? I did not know it could be so stylish." Her eyes widened as she realized what she'd said. She hoped the girl wouldn't take offense to it. "I am sorry, I did not mean to make it sound rude. You look very beautiful."

"Désolé," Fleur apologized, going back a bit through the conversation to correct her language transition. "Ma mère is my mother. And yes, one week. We are very excited to be in America. But I miss ma père. My father. He still lives in France."

She grinned at Aster's welcome and leaned forward to kiss her on both cheeks, as Fleur was used to doing with her friends in France. "I like what I have found so far," she remarked sweetly. "It had all been very pleasant. And you are lovely too!"

Fleur blinked quickly trying to follow Aster's questions as she jumped between topics. "Uh, I am not sure… maybe shopping? And… school? I do not go to school here. I finished in France." She smiled again, proud of herself for keeping up with the questions.

@Dayzed forum

Aster nodded at her words. Not a lot of people thrifted, but those who did, understood the importance of having clothes, even if it wasn't new. Style was the last thing at hand when you couldn't afford clothes, but fortunately for Aster, she had found a place that had the sizes she had need and even the style she was looking for. It wasn't every day she came across these things so she was thankful she had when she did.
"I didn't know either but either way, I had to find something, I wasn't looking for these clothes specifically when I went to the store, but I'm glad I did" She spoke, pausing at certain words, almost mimicking Fleur's slowness in words as she saw how Fleur was trying to help her by slowing down a bit.
Aster waved Fleur away with her apology.
"Don't worry about it, I know you didn't mean it that way, after all, you went through the trouble of getting those ladies off my back earlier. I don't mind anyways" She shrugged.
Aster, of course, already knew that Fleur's father was back in France, which was why she and her mother were easy targets. Something, however, that she could not relate to, was missing her father. Yes, she missed the affection a parent could bring to their kid, but that boat had sailed a long time ago and she just had to deal with it. So she nodded and pretended to know exactly what Fleur was talking about.

When Fleur kissed her on both cheeks Aster looked at her in awe when she pulled away.
"That's one way to do it" She let out a chuckle, trying to hide the fact that she seemed a little flustered by everything. Aster was no good with compliments, but she felt herself melting at Fleur's words. What ever happened to winning her over instead of the other way around?!
"Mhm…thank you," Aster said, trying to return the politeness of the conversation. At the mention of more of Fleur's past, things almost went over Aster's head but she quickly snapped out of whatever trance she was in and mentally noted it down. Finished school in France.
Aster opened her mouth to say something but before she could, Fleur's name was called out to receive her coffee, then it was Aster's turn. She scoweled. Even though they had been talking for a while, Aster hated that she had been interrupted. She begrudgingly took her coffee and smiled at the person who had set them down, still trying to be nice for the sake of keeping up appearances.
"Well Fleur, I wish you the best of luck with shopping and it was nice meeting you," Aster said, unsure of what to say at all at this point. She wasn't sure if she should insist on walking with her, but it felt unnatural, so maybe cutting the conversation short was the right play here.
"Maybe we'll meet again?" She asked, wondering if she should give her phone number to Fleur, though it was unnecessary.
