As the adolescent walked, sunbeams shining down through the holes in the canopy, he found himself getting tired.

It'd been a long day, what with finals coming up and longer shifts at work.

All he could think about was the upcoming summer and the specific task that had been assigned to him.

Unrelenting worries on the possibility of failure pummeled him.

The hollow feeling knocked in his head as he trudged to the door.
