I have tried emailing andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) and reporting a problem with no response. I had the premium edition and immediately canceled upon renewal. It said that it rebated me the money but I have not received the refund at all; I've checked multiple times and double checked the credit card used. This was back in June. I just want to either be credited the premium for a year since I've already paid for it; or be refunded the money. (I'd prefer the premium account now anyways but don't want to pay for it twice) Any ideas on how to contact the person in charge? Thanks!
Hey, Iām one of the moderators here, I have just sent a message to andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) about this. He is also on the Notebook.ai Discord, if you want to talk to him more directly. So sorry for the inconvenience!
Hey there @Cloverswings, so sorry I missed your email! I appreciate you following up and asking again though.
When you pay for Premium and then cancel before the time is used, the time you paid for gets automatically credited back to your Notebook.ai account to prorate any future purchases, not automatically refunded back to the card used. I'm happy to issue a full refund back to the card if you'd like though, and I apologize I must have missed your email in June asking for that.
When you have Notebook.ai credit, any upgrade just takes from that before charging anything to your card. For example, you currently have $84 in credit (which you can check by going to your Billing History page). This means, if you were to re-subscribe for another year, you'd use that credit first and wouldn't be charged at all to your card. Basically, whatever time you've paid for but not used reduces the cost of upgrading again so you're not double-paying for any of that time.
Hope that all makes sense, and once again I'm sorry I missed your original email. If you'd still like a refund just let me know here (or by email, I'll be watching!), but if you prefer the premium account and don't want to pay for it twice, you can just re-upgrade at your convenience to apply your $84 in credit toward it.
Happy to answer any other questions you might have too! (And thanks for the ping, @Serpentess!)
That's great! I really like this website but didn't use it for a while, that's why I originally canceled. But now I use it all the time and would like to have the premium again. It was confusing how the rebate worked; but I suppose it makes sense now. I'll get the premium tonight, then. :-) Thank you for responding so quickly to this conversation.
Oh, that's wonderful news! I'm glad the site is so helpful. :)
If there's anything else I can do to help, feel free to reach out. Always happy to help!
