I have a top gun Oc: Delilah Mitchell She is the daughter of Pete "Maverick" Mitchell. However I am having a hard time deciding on her mother & birth-date.
I originally was going to have her be Charlie Blackwood from the first movie and have her be born in 1987. Then have Mav deal with the whole unexpected parenting thing on top of just loosing Goose. The other thing with this version is that I have read a couple of fics where Jake Seresin is Charlie and Mav's kid-So I had would have him and Delilah be twins or he could still be Charlie's son just not Mav's
The other option is her mother is Penny Benjamin from the second movie and have her be born in 1982. But than after Goose dies Mav is so focused on helping Bradley and Carole that he sends Delilah to live with her mother. This time Jake is Charlie and Mav's son
The main difference is how her age effects her relationship with Bradley Bradshaw. In the first option they would childhood/Highschool sweethearts. In the second they wouldn't get together til years later since there's a 4 yr age gap and the whole Mav-Bradley drama
I'm just having trouble pinning it down no matter what feels like a cop-out
