Well, hi! ouo/ I’m assuming I’ve arrived to the correct place?

Great! owo
Should I start off or should you? (Honestly I’d rather you go first rubs back of head sheepishly)
i can get something up in a few minutes, give me a moment. i dont mind going first
Khavai, Khavai. Curse Khavai and all that rise from its shadow.
for once, an easy life was all Kis had hoped for. but as usual it never came for him. things seemed to delve further into darkness the more he waited, and eventually, Kis would realize he had to interrupt his own vacation to get himself together. a thing that wasn’t easy. it never was, gluing your broken pieces back together.
and he was already disgruntled to begin with, but having to make the journey to that god forsaken temple irritated him. the journey itself wasn’t fun, fending off terrifying beasts of Khavania. that fucking stupid temple. on how he hated it so much, all the bad things happened there. the only good thing that went on was his last visit in which it marked the end of his so called final journey. what a lie, what a damn lie.
he slapped a mosquito away from him trudging forwards through the mud until an ancient stone temple came into view.
Khavai, you’re here aren’t you. Khavai, Khavai, curse all that follow you without purpose.
with a sigh he picked up the pace and returned to a walk, moving up the steps, nearly falling over a few times. he was lucky to be wearing protective clothing or else he’d surely be more scratched up than usual. and of course, the doors were shut. great. just fucking great.
Kis wandered around the top levels for a moment, looking at the square structure. the doors, were impossible for a predominantly human like him to open. even a Khov would probably have trouble opening the damn things.
eventually, he caught sight of a familiar exit/entrance. a small opening in the rock, which wasting no time Kis was more than happy to slip through, although it was a tight squeeze. once on the other side, he sneezed. the area was unclean, filled with dust. the temple hadn’t seen much activity since the final journey.
he stepped forwards but in a split second, realized that he should really be more cautious. but that realization came too late. booby trap. why the hell did they keep booby traps in here anymore. there weren’t any treasures in this temple, contrasting popular belief. only dust. and curses, misery.
he felt himself fly through the air, swung towards the ceiling. yet he didn’t let out a noise, even as he came to realize his current predicament, stuck upside down in a tight rope. if he cut himself down, he’s sure to get injured. not that he has anything. well, he had something, he though, fumbling with a knife before watching in dismay as it fell to the floor with a clatter. crossing his arms, Kis closed his eyes. if Khavai itself wanted him here, then surely good old Khavai would sense that he probably wasn’t going to be getting to his destination on his own.
As if sensing the misery, Khavai showed up, nimbly avoiding the traps that had been placed on the ground. There was a slightest bit of smile on his face, his scaly lips curled to reveal his teeth. Although not as if at least some of his teeth were constantly peering from his mouth in an unsettling display.
“I thought I heard someone here, it wasn’t my senses playing a trick on me after all.” His eyes maneuvered up to see his former companion in a predicament. “That rope okay?”
Kis grimaced. the encounters he had previously shared with Khavai were mostly unpleasant and he could already recall why. it was only visible in his eyes as he frowned, but he was unable to keep the frustration out of his own voice. something he was usually good at. i wonder why.
“i’d really appreciate,” he barely even made an attempt to keep the sarcasm from flowing out, “if you’d let me down from here. the rope is not comfortable. frankly, it’s very tight. what happened to taking down all these traps?” he questioned, peering around to see if he could spot any other traps from his current position.
Khavai flicked his tail, smiling at the human as he ranted on. He couldn’t wait to catch up with his old friend. Maybe rekindle a flame or two, relive some old experiences, just like the old times he wanted to say.
“I couldn’t dare to dream about taking down all other defenses of my lovely abode,” Khavai practically sung. “What if someone tries to rob me while I’m asleep?”
“And besides, the rope really shouldn’t be that tight, though, only just enough to keep you hoisted up there.” The Khov dismissed all other sentences, his tone teasing. “Maybe you’re just fat.”
(ber you can NOT do this here)
genuinely offended at the comment, Kis shot back almost immediately. “what things are they going to rob, the bones and ashes of your masters? there literally isn’t anything down here, aside from you, and you don’t clean at all from what i can get from just walking around.”
Kis attempted to move himself free but again to no avail. he stared mourning at his own knife, and in a hiss, “if only i had that knife, you Sh’naeshibawq.”
(uvu)
Khavai’s smile faded in seconds as he pulled back his scaly lips even further in a low barely heard growl. “Sh’naeshibawq? Apparently a break has not done much good for you, Khokham’uka. Still disrespectful of gods as always, if not even more.” His tail lashed out.
despite being several feet off of the ground and away from the Khov, he could feel his fear and how he shrunk into himself at the growl. memories of old days, old times. “..well..” he mumbled out, stumbling over his own words. “you’ve gotten grumpier.”
His mood shifted in an instant and he returned back to the smile. “No. Just peachy.” He could smell the fear from his stoic companion, hear it in his voice. Khavai moved forwards walking so that he was just underneath the human, looking up at him with all six of his eyes.
His talons met the silver of the knife and he glanced down. “Mmh. Made an attempt already?” Khavai questioned, already knowing the answer. “It failed. I’ll help you out though. Cant go on a journey if the guy I need is trapped.”
he was stunned at how fast the Khov’s mood could change. and it was sort of scary in a way. Kis squinted. “i mean, that’s pretty obivious there.”
