i want to delete a collection on my profile but i can't find any way to do it.

Huh, apparently I overlooked this. There's a release going out this Thursday and I'll make sure the ability to delete collections is in it. In the meantime, any private collections will show up on your profile, but only to you. Nobody else can see anything of yours that's private. :)
