Welcome to the High Fae Winter Solstice ball, a masquerade where the nobility mingles and revels in the longest night of the year. This year, however, is different. There is a prophecy that tells of the fall of the High Fae and the daylight to the Nether Fae, unless one from each side joins together on the night of the Winter Solstice. Nether Fae are not invited to the ball, but that does not mean there aren't a few in attendance. The radiant High Fae require their entertainment, after all…
Stepping into the light of the ballroom, Damian shivers, both with anticipation and the chill of the night. A black raven mask adorned his face, and swaths of glittering midnight blue material covered little of his body, exposing most of his pale skin. He was far less decorated than most guests, but that was intentional since he was only here to… entertain the nobility attending the ball. That and he could feed tonight and feel complete. Swaying his hips as he meandered through the crowd of High Fae, Damien let himself smile. Emotions would be so high, and many would be drunk enough not to notice the half-incubus draining their energy.
