@MarDeColores this is not it kids
Hello! I would just like a very easy-going, fun rp. I have a pair of characters that I would like to use, and I have a bit of a fantasy-leaning plot too. I will elaborate on both of those if anyone wants me to. :)
Hello! I would just like a very easy-going, fun rp. I have a pair of characters that I would like to use, and I have a bit of a fantasy-leaning plot too. I will elaborate on both of those if anyone wants me to. :)
Hi! I'd love to join if you'd have me.
Of course! Would you like to hear the idea I have in mind?
Throw it at me! Would you like a writing sample from me or anything in the meantime? I'm not quite sure if you remember me because this is a new account.
Nope, I remember you! Welcome back! :)
Anyway, there's these two idiots. One of them is a prisoner facing eternal torment for trying to be evil or something, and the other is the guard that's been stationed there to watch over the prisoner. They've been there for a really long time, and by this point they've almost become friends, though they'd never admit that. They play cards together often to pass the time. Then one day, someone (I'm thinking this would be you?) tries to summon the prisoner to do something (if you'd like, you can come up with this part). But this person accidentally summons both the prisoner and the guard. Shenanigans and mayhem ensue.
And if you have any ideas to add onto or modify this, throw them at me!
Great! And thanks a lot :)
Okay yes, I love it! But how would we go on with that? And would we split the guard and the prisoner between us and kind of have why the prisoner is "imprisoned" established beforehand or would you and I RP it out? And obv I'd probably be more likely to pick up the guard than the prisoner for plot details and I feel like we'd be able to throw in a fourth secondary charrie in there somewhere to even out the playing field if you wanted.
I have those questions but otherwise yeah I like it!
Well, we could have the summoner of the two try to get them to do whatever it was they were summoned for, them not having it in the least bit, and an escape. Then perhaps the summoner goes after them and they decide to try and get the summoner to stop (which would probably involve murder, if I'm being honest here), and have all that play out.
For the guard/prisoner thing, you could take the guard and me the prisoner. And as for the fourth character, we might do the summoner's right-hand man or something similar (maybe they're sympathetic to the pair and help them escape?) For the background, I can drop in some details and we can kind of build it out together?
What do you think? Also, apologies if nothing makes sense, it's been a long day.
I have an idea for how I want the charrie and what I want their thing to be (pretty much them just being completely batshit insane) so the guard and the prisoner basically have to play babysit on them not asking to murder the person they're after? I thought that'd be fun, esp if the prisoner is just as crazy
yeah ofc if you're down with playing a second charrie! I thought it'd be easier that way for the both of us if we had one on each side as well if that makes sense?
And yeah it sounds great! it makes sense to me ^^
Oh, yes, I like it. I'm good with the second character. Do you want some brief character profiles just to get everything sorted out?
Yeah that'd be good with me! Are you gonna give me a template or should I get my own?
I can make a template. It'll be pretty basic, so you can add on whatever else you want to.
Sweet! Sounds good to me ^^
(Here it is! I'll get my characters up as soon as I can.)

(Okay, you're good!)
(Oh, I forgot to say this, but magic is totally a thing. Give your characters magic if you wish. :)
(Oh neat! I'll just give the guard some magic but not the summoner)
The Prisoner
Name: Oriol
Age: It's been a while, he forgot. His physical appearance looks around 19 or 20, which he dislikes but can do nothing about.
Gender/pronouns: Non-binary, he/him.
Sexuality: Omniromantic, asexual.
Appearance: 5'10". Slightly wavy dark brown hair falling to his waist, usually either in a ponytail or an utter mess. Medium brown skin with warm undertones. Light brown eyes. Usually wearing very worn clothes in neutral colors. He has a black strip of cloth tied around his eyes.
Personality: He's very playful and cocky. He can and will fight you. He absolutely doesn't care what people think about him, and sometimes even revels in people being like, 'what the hell is going on with that guy'.
Likes: Being free, having company, tricking people, getting his way.
Dislikes: Eternal torment, people using him, things that are (in his opinion) unfair.
Talents: He's good at dodging. Just… dodging. All things. Everything. He has a very good memory and very heightened senses.
Favored Weapon: A long stick/staff. Usually, it's made out of metal, but he'll settle for wood.
Magic Possessed: He can sense power and life, as well as the vague placement of things. In this way, he is able to navigate the world as if he can actually see– usually, at least. If he's really tired or hurt he can't really use it.
Brief Background: He's been imprisoned for a very, very long time. He was imprisoned for crimes against the general populous. He might have killed some people. Okay, it was a lot of people. There might have been a war. It's been a while, the details have gotten blurry.
Other: Oriol has been blind since he was born, and managed to get ahold of some magic to allow himself to "see" a little.
The Summoner's Helper
Name: Imena Glass
Age: 28 years.
Gender/pronouns: Female, she/her
Sexuality: Aro.
Appearance: 5'11". Chin-length hair, dyed bubblegum pink. Light, tanned skin. Pale blue eyes. Usually wears some combination of salmon pink and black, always wears something comfortable.
Personality: She's usually very carefree and lighthearted. She minds her own business very aggressively, which is how she's able to be carefree. She can be very loyal, especially if there's a good reason.
Likes: Helping people with their injuries, ignoring problems, roses.
Dislikes: Making important decisions, changing her mind, surprises.
Talents: She's weirdly good at healing (she could probably find a way to cure a fever with a tree branch) and could hold her own in a fight.
Favored Weapon: She doesn't usually like to fight, but if she had to she'd pick a baseball bat or her fists.
Magic Possessed: She doesn't call it magic and honestly doesn't even know she has it, but she has been blessed with healing magic.
Brief Background: TBD
Other: N/A
(I thought I was going with the guard? It's np though lmao, but I love them both.)
(Oop, I accidentally labeled him wrong. You do have the guard. Sorry!)
(cool just making sure! I'll have them up hopefully by tomorrow ^^)
(Alright!)
The Guard
Name: Shuna
Age: While they do take care to pay attention, he lost track around the five-hundred mark and it was downhill from there.
Gender/pronouns: He/they, masc identifying but would probably say nonbinary as well
Sexuality: Aromatic/Ace
Appearance: Shuna's entire appearance is completely grey, despite his personality. His hair is long and covers most of his face, with long strands of hair that curl around his ears. His features are sharp and pointed, with his sharp, hooked nose poking out. His lips are usually neutral but he has quite a nice smile. Underneath his hair his eyes are dark and hooded with no corneas. His clothes are that of a normal guard– some padded clothing and a vest underneath. About 6'3 and muscular.
Personality: Shuna is shy and not very outspoken, but once he mellows out to knowing you, he likes to crack a lot of jokes. He thinks he's trustworthy and he will keep every secret he's told. He himself isn't great with trust, but he breaks down often.
Likes: Peace, butterflies, painting, sleeping.
Dislikes: Spiders, watching people be in pain, being treated like he's underneath others.
Talents: He can do a lot of card tricks.
Favored Weapon: He doesn't really have one, but if he had to choose he'd pick a rapier or spear to keep people away from him. He fights more defensively for sure.
Magic: He is able to make like a sort of force field by choice. He can also make boxes around other people to protect them or trap them in.
Brief Background: Well, what is there to say? From a young age he came from a family of people who served in this position, and he grew into it. Likes his job and is convinced he guards a lot of good people.
Other:
The Summoner
Name: Sean Niosha
Age: 24
Gender/pronouns: Trans Male; he/him (hrt)
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: Dark spiky hair whose tips are frosted a blonde. Prefers to wear brown contacts to hide light grey eyes to make his complexion darker. He has sort of a baby face, with high cheekbones and a small nose, but with a strong jawline. Gangly 6'1, but skinny.
Personality: Sort of all over the place and a "bouncing off the walls" type of guy. His decisions are ecstatic and never clear, however, once he makes a decision that he knows will go well for him, he jumps on it and clings to that. Isn't loyal to anyone but himself and never thinks about the consequences of his actions.
Likes: Playing piano (and other several string instruments), fire gay (tm), the hour of midnight
Dislikes: Being woken up early, being bored (makes him restless), and being surrounded by too many people.
Talents: He can play a lot of instruments and express himself through art fluently.
Favored Weapon: Any weapon. He'd pick one up and feel that rush, nevertheless if he knows how to use it or not. Anything red-hot hits that special spot in his brain.
Brief Background: To be developed through the RP
Other:
(Ooh, I love them! I'll get the starter up as soon as I can.)
(ofc! Take your time.)
Oriol wouldn't have minded normal prison. He'd been in normal prison quite a few times (and then got out, because only a fool would stay in prison) and it hadn't been bad. Boring, but bearable. This prison, however… this one was different. There was the floor, for one. Oriol was pretty sure it was literally lava. Or at least boiling water. Way back, when he'd first been thrown in there, the pain had been almost unbearable. There were the chains too, which were also scalding hot. It seemed to be a theme down there. Had he shown signs that he didn't like the heat back when he was free (killing everyone)? He hadn't thought so. Maybe this was just the standard for eternal torment. Lots of heat and boredom. Because after he got past the neverending pain, it was boring. Even more than normal prison. There he'd had other prisoners to talk to, but down here, he was the only one.
"Ay! Guard!" Oriol turned to face where the guard was usually posted. "Are you awake?" When he'd first gotten locked up, he'd sworn to never talk to anyone. That lasted about one year, and then he'd given up. Bothering the guard became his new hobby. It was a way to fill the endless hours of his imprisonment. They often played cards, something that Oriol delighted in. After all, playing cards usually required actually being able to see what the card was. Thankfully, one of them (he couldn't remember who it was) came up with the idea to scratch the value into the card. Those games took up a decent amount of time, but not nearly enough in his opinion. Then again, there was only so much two people could do with a deck of cards. And the guard had to do their job some of the time, at least. "Guard!" Oriol yelled again, just in case they hadn't heard him the first time. They were the only two down there, but you never know. Maybe he was distracted.
(boop)
It had been too long to count. Shuna had seen many faces in his life– some unfriendly, some jubilant and wild with emotion, and others relaxed and accepting of everything they had admittedly deserved. Though, Shuna never held any spite against any of his prisoners he was stationed to watch over. It was embedded in him to be vague and unfeeling– for the most part. Over those years he lost his grip on what it meant to be mean and outstanding, besides, it wasn't really great for the prisoners to constantly go without someone to talk to. Prisoners who Shuna watched over often had interesting stories to tell while he was taking a break from standing.
For a good while now, Shuna had been watching over a human whose favorite hobby was to bother him. It had been too long to count how long they had been together, and a semblance of time wasn't present here. A lot of human ideals weren't present whatsoever.
"Yes, yes, I am here," rumbled the guard as his boots clicked. He stood in front of the bars, tilting his head a little as he peered into the pit of fire. "What is it? I trust you don't need anything to eat?"
"Pft, you know me," Oriol smirked and made his way towards the bars. The chains around his wrists and ankles were relatively long, allowing him all the way to the bars. His steps were measured and deliberate. "I'm bored, nothing more. Although if you do happen to have any food around you, I'll gladly take it. That gets rid of boredom quite nicely as well." Oriol reached out carefully and grabbed ahold of one of the bars. As he did, a slight tingle started in his feet. He didn't think much of it, however, as his feet were always feeling weird things. It was a side effect of literally standing in lava for as long as he had. Honestly, it was a miracle he could feel anything at that point. It was only when the tingling reach his knees that he realized something was wrong. He could sense whips of magic curling around his legs, and around the legs of the guard. Where had they come from? He had no idea magic could reach this deep into the ground. Unless it was the guard doing it, it was very weird. "Are you doing that?" Oriol asked, directing his question towards the guard. "If so, stop. I don't like it."
