Based off the original Inspector Gadget TV show, yknow, the 2d animated one with the shenanigans.
You are the child of the nefarious Doctor Claudius Vale, villain alias Doctor Claw. You and your father are equal bits nefarious and clever, however your upbringing is the only reason you have to hold negative energy and in reality you are a softer soul who wishes to do greater things with your life and eventually escape your father’s control. You have been tasked with infiltrating the heroic organization T.H.W.A.R.T (Tasking Heroes With Arresting Reprobate Tyrants). Unfortunately, it’s only to further your father’s goals to make his villainous corporation, M.A.D. Corporation (Mischief, Absurdity, Disaster Corporation) all the stronger by stealing T.H.W.A.R.T.’s plans in order to take his villainous schemes to another level. You do so because you care about your father and don’t want to see him jailed, but you know this will only lead to disaster, especially if you are found out.
My characters are Inspector Augustine ‘Gadget’ Quimby, and his brilliant 15 year old niece, Penny Bernice Quimby. Her parents are the leaders of T.H.W.A.R.T, the cunning former spy Julia ‘Aces’ Quimby and former police Captain (now co-leader of T.H.W.A.R.T) John Emmett Quimby. Penny and Gadget are the main two who will be adventuring with your character, but otherwise it’s up to you how many characters you want to use or include. Maybe you want to play a fellow T.H.W.A.R.T. spy, or maybe an eccentric scientist working for Doctor Claw, or any number of other characters. I don’t feel like limiting you, basically. But please don’t play endless characters to the point where there’s twenty characters in a scene and I only play one of them, I’ve been guilty of this before and I feel like it clogs up a story.
Anyways, basic rules are don’t be a jerk or a bigot, all are welcome otherwise just be kind. No NSFW content, and no extreme gore. Have fun!
