I have a character his name is Jackson he is little but then he's big and has a family I love him and his little face

omg hi i just saw this but im rambling rn,,, GOD i fucking love Cassiopeia and Cygnus Jones, my disaster twins. They both transed their genders and named themselves after constellations because they thought it was pretentious and funny. They're from south-east Mississippi and grew up with the MC–Midge Larsony–on the swamp. they wrassled alligators and stole those funny little bayou boats and straight up Disappeared into the Bog for a solid few days at a time.

Cygnus (he/him) is a dance major student. he wears Jorts, Cowboy Boots, an Open Lavender Shirt like this, and a Cowboy Hat. I based him off the one video of the guy dancing to Rasputin. he is So Stupid and his heart is So Big and i love him

Cassie (she/her) is my unhinged engineering student who attaches flamethrowers to the funny little bayou boats. she yells WOOOOOOOO-WEE a lot and cannot shut up for the life of her. she's also always carrying a flask of straight alcohol.

they also both have nearly unintelligible southern accents <3

I cannot explain to you all how much I love Buckley, he is too far beyond perfection and requires way more love than he will ever receive. He's a religiously traumatized closeted gay who joined the military to escape the gay allegations, but instead he meets a perfect boyfriend and proceeds to have an emotional crisis over it for the rest of the book. He likes stupid jokes and his father figure (aforementioned dilf) who is also his captain. He is a beautiful baby boy even tho he's huge

i calm down and brush off my clothes which have nothing on them and clear my throat anyways she's fucking ancient so even if she's married to you (which canonically she has a fiancé who's just doing his best and failing because your bEsT IsN't GoOd EnOuGh ArOuNd HeR fOrEvEr AnD aLwAyS bEcAuSe ShE's A cHaOtIc friend) she'll call you a nickname usually associated with kids or something like that-

My main/focus character is Rhea Grace- she starts as a nervous, people-pleasing, kind of judgy mess but slowly becomes a very chill and supportive girl who only wants whats best for her bf and their best friend. I love her bc she deserves good things and she gets them, while also bringing them to the people around her. Lots of cottagecore-type dates in open fields, braiding wildflowers into hair, tackle hugs/kisses, slow burn type romance potential with her as well. Her, Elio, and Callisto are my favorite of the main/most important 12 (yes I hate myself) and they all get lots of focus time, but we hear from Rhea the most. I will admit, Callisto is actually my favorite character, so she gets a lot of asides and subplots, but I just want her to be happy.

I made Sal and Carey completely at random a week ago, but they are just so fun and wholesome. Carey is anxious about everything and literally never uses her powers of teleportation. And Sal freezes time a million times a day, and is the most chill person ever. Then the timestream starts falling apart then he becomes stressed because he can't freeze time any more, and Carey becomes calm and reliable. They are a duet of chaos and anxiety. They also represent the duality of my soul pretty well.

I’m just very proud of Arcadio as a character. When I started writing he was honestly just a body with a blank face. His whole deal in the story was to be an abusive father who held many secrets and was just terrible all around, but as I kept writing I realized I had to give him some kind of depth and personality, specially with how much he was going to appear in the story. Slowly he started to become one of my favorites to write, he became like this very dramatic and somewhat elegant figure, like an old disney villain. I thought since he was going to be part of this secret organization where everyone’s secret identity was based on birds I would base a bit of his personality and looks on a bird.

I settled on this barn-owl kind of look, I wanted him to be kind of handsome but not Hollywood beautiful, like those characters drawn in porcelain or old caricatures with slender faces and a lot of geometrical figures as the base for the body. I really wanted for him to give off the vibes of sharp edges, specially when we gets flashbacks of him at a younger age.

My plans for him changed from “A stern and perfectionist father who could not care less about the well-being of his sons” to “a chaotic man who is desperately trying to be a good father while being an awful human being.” I like to think he never really wanted a kid, specially considering all of his awful childhood and his crappy habits (man smokes and drinks so much, he’s like this close to dropping dead I swear) but then he gets stuck with one.

He tries to be a good dad, but like being a criminal takes a lot of time out of your day and he is not capable of spending a lot of time with his son and this creates a big hole in their relationship. And like, he also keeps everything related to the mother of his child a secret because she was kinda crazy even for his standards. (Being a mad scientists is hot until she experiments on you and makes you indestructible)

He found his second child when he was on a mission, he just found an unconscious nine year old missing an eye on the snow, and was like well im evil but like not that evil, so he took him home. At first he tried to look for his parents but the kid spoke a dead language, and that’s when he realized he might have accidentally stolen one of the most ambitious experiments of the organization.

More shenanigans ensue and know he has to keep secrets from the government, his sons, the public and the organization. It all goes to hell after he makes a mistake and ends up bleeding out on his living room right in front of his children.

My emotion towards him changed from “I’m so glad I’m going to kill you off at some point” to “My poor little meow meow, I’m still going to have to kill you though”
