Task's brother is outed
Description
Task witnesses his father's anger at his older brother's relationship with his friend.
Notes
Task's older brother was romantically involved with his friend, which his father found out about. His father confronts the two, admonishing both for the breach of character. He tells the friend that he would not disclose the indiscretion of the relationship to the friend's family, but harshly recommended he correct his behavior to not bring shame to his father the way Task's brother had done to him. Task's father then dismissed the friend, and disciplined Task's brother. Task's father proceeded to demean his son for the relationship, for romantically consorting with a commoner, and for allowing his emotional weakness to cloud his judgement. Additionally, because they were a royal family and they had an image to uphold and had a duty to raise the next generation of warriors to fight the GRU. Furthermore, the fact that Task's brother showed affection to anyone in the first place was a sign of weakness and fragility.
Task was a witness to this simply because he wanted a sweet treat and was moving furnitrue and climbing a counter to get to it. Most of it went over his head at the time, but it would be the last time he saw his brother's friend.
