Mine:
"Alexandra, whatever powers you have, you can learn to control!" I shout, my cat ears laid back in sadness.
"But, what if I can't, Alexander?! I was stuck as a fox for the whole day! I made the power go out for THE WHOLE TOWN, for THREE HOURS! I can't-" Alexandra starts, but I cut her off.
I've gotten real tired of her arguing. Of her being negative. I don't care how hot she is pissed. And, I'm tired of being so confused with these feelings.
I cut her off by kissing her, leaving her next few words a muffled mess. She starts to kiss back… She starts to kiss back?! I pull away but kiss her again, and again, and again. Each time, I pull slightly farther away, causing her to have to come closer for every kiss. I pull away again, a huge stupid grin spreading across my face. Alex's eyes, full of left over sadness, stare back into mine.
"You kissed back! You kissed back four times!" I shout happily, wrapping my arms around her waist and pulling her towards me. "And, here I thought you were annoyed with my very presence of me." I say, smirking slightly now.
"I still am. You're a pretentious arrogant jerk… But, whatever…" She says, mumbling near the end.
I'll never get a straight "I love you" or "I like you" from her. But, I'll settle for a "Whatever". I smile, capturing her lips again. Thank Jess Christy; this is real. I have no idea what'd I'd do if it wasn't.
