How about this one:

Four roommates are extra-terrestrials who have taken human form in the hopes of learning about Earths culture. Unfortunately, each alien is from a different planet and believes the other three are human.

Or:

A scream echoes outside. One by one, the houses on the street go dark. My one is next.

Tell me if you want any more.

These are awesome! I don't need any more, but if you happen to see a prompt about kids with powers or a magical town, let me know?

@StoriesHaveNoLimits

How about:

At first the flame only came with emotion, but she/he soon learned to summon it at will.

Or:

A world famous magician selects a random child to help him with his magic trick. Little does he know, the child is capable of real magic.

Once again, let me know if you want anymore!

Can I get another prompt?
Perhaps one with magical creatures in modern life?

@StoriesHaveNoLimits

Here's one:

A vampire lady needs her wife to help her with makeup and hair since she can't see in the mirror.
(I know that one was bad.)

Or:

You're walking home one night, and in the shadows you see a large dog. As you walk closer you realize that it's not a large dog. You barely have enough time to get away. After that strange things happen and everyone from the magic world is out for your blood.

Let me know if you want any more!

Howdy! Could you perhaps help me? I recently went to a renaissance festival and I’m craving some sort of renaissance-ish prompt, thanks in advance!

"What's that?" Your little sister asks peering over your shoulder.
"A book." You reply.
"A book?" She asks, clearly confused. "Why would you be reading a book?"
"It's Shakespeare dear, It's incredible."
"But mother said not to read books."
Your parents frown upon women reading and learning. But you steal books from your older brother anyway.

Or:

"Silly girl. You can't paint!" Your teacher says.
"I can paint!" You say, "I can paint like that painter Leonardo da Vinci."
"Da Vinci is a terrible artist. Don't speak of him." The teacher frowned at you.
"But how? His work is incredible , everyone adores it." You argue, for its true.
"I have my reasons. You can't even read, let alone paint!"
It is true. You can't read, but painting you love. That's why you got in touch with the only art teacher in the school.

If you need any more or don't like these just let me know. Sorry if I didn't get the renaissance-y type prompts you were looking for, I need to do more research on that.

"Giants have lived amongst us for years now. But we've never seen them." The teacher told his students. You raise a hand. "Then how do we know they live here?" You ask. The teacher goes quiet for a moment. "It's the only explanation.." He says gently. "For what sir?" You ask, always being the inquisitive one. "For the mysterious events, the destruction over where the dwarves live, the missings here, there is many more examples." The teacher said. "What examples?" You push.
" It's not my place to say.." He replies before moving on swiftly to history.

Or:

The man looked over the wasteland, the bodies of the soldiers that fought beside him. "How could you do this!?" He shouted at the man standing in front of him. He smiled. "There are many things you don't know." He says smoothly, polishing his staff with his long robes. "But.. that was magic! Magic hasn't been seen for years! Not by the dwarves, the Pixies, the dragons, not by anyone!" The man says. "Are you a mage?". The man with the staff smiles even wider. "No … I'm a witch." The man now realizes its a woman. But he was too late to react, all that was left was his ashes.

Sorry if I didn't get what you were trying to say. Let me know if you need any more.
