I think you get the idea.
David sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, his fingers softly trailing over the deep claw marks left by that stupid hybrid weasel.

David sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, his fingers softly trailing over the deep claw marks left by that stupid hybrid weasel.
Even thinking about the thing made him shudder involuntarily. The way it had leapt at him from the bushes….a shiver traveled up his spine and he shook his head, trying to clear it of the image.
At least he'd gotten away. With what he'd heard about them, it could have killed him if he'd stayed in the room any longer.
The room. How had he gotten in there anyhow? He remembered nothing….even his escape from it was a blur.
Hybrids almost always excrete toxins. Maybe I was poisoned and I'm slowly losing my memory. Surprisingly the thought doesn't scare him.
A knock on his front door echoed through the house and caused him to jump. Taking a breath he told himself that it was just knock. His friend Jessica was coming over, it was probably her.
David walked sheepishly over to the door. Whoever was knocking was urgent to see him. Every quick and loud knock shocked him. He reached the unfamilier door and slowly opened it, the high-pitched creaking of the door making him flinch.
David gasped. It was Jessica—but on her shoulder perched the hybrid weasel!
"Why would you bring that demon creature to my house?!" He demanded, eyes wide with fear.
"You have frick'n lost it David," She said bluntly. "This is Al-ex your p-et," her voice had a tint of sarcasm.
"I'm sorry, what?" David blinked, taking a step back.
The weasel stared at him from Jessica's shoulder, making his stomach churn with uneasiness. "Are you sure that you're not the one who has lost it?"
Jessica pursed her lips and gave him a hard look.
“Quite sure,” she said.
David looked back into the room, and then back at Jessica. Then he glared at the weasel.
Something wasn't right about this whole thing.
"Something isn't right about this whole thing," he said aloud.
Off to one side, there was a sigh, before the director shouted "cut!"
