is being twisted by skeletal claws

Then he couldn’t take it anymore

so he wrenched the knife out

Looked into her eyes, tears falling

The knife fell to the ground

shattering, taking his love with it

So he fell, way too fast

”To the moon and back. I…”

his voice cracked with his bones

He dropped dead to the ground

She couldn’t believe that it happened

She didn’t know how to manage

The knife was not what hurt

You said to loved me forever

Nothing will ever be the same.

Never again would she see him
