My friend is stuck with a writing assignment and has to write a detective/ murder mystery story and we have no ideas, so if anyone could help a little it would be great!

How about a detective with schizofrenia whos other persona is the murderer he is trying to find? Murderer by night, detective by day and unknowingly chasing himself… I saw the idea on Pinterest a while ago

Maybe it’s too late now but I guess it could be used other than for the assignment as well?
