He has hardly any combos and no spike so yeah… still better then Little Mac.

Listen, best character hands-down is Dedede. Heavy, great fsmash and specials, and he's even got a projectile! Also voiced by Daddy Sakurai, which makes him the best. Also has a really convincing K. Rool costume?

Okay, but real talk, what would you guys think if they made Byleth from Fire Emblem 3 Houses a Smash Character? I think it might be a possibility, and while I think they have too many similar FE characters in Smash, I'd be really interested to see their moveset based on what we see in the game.

I think fire emblem should be ruled out as a possibility.

I think every DLC after this is either going to be third-party or first-party games with serious underrepresentation.

Sad? Sad?! I'm sorry I don't like bodge game mechanics and turn based gameplay as well as trashy anime characters in romantic relationships. Sorry that I like other games.

I wish they’d made more of these fe characters into assist trophies and such instead but meh. There is at least a Sully skin for Lucina.

It's more "sad that you don't know the character" rather than "sad you don't play the games." Sully is basically a punch woman but uses a lance in-game. I didn't mind her, but I also thought there were some better heart-squeezy tale options cough cough Henry.

I thought that's what the "sad" meant. Did I misunderstand? I apologize if that's the case. Nothing's gonna change my mind about Henry, though. He's hilarious.

This is what makes me upset, that you people are talking about relationships and I don't like it. FE is waaaay cringe and this discussion is for people that would like to talk about Super Smash Bros.

We were talking about FE characters in smash, and you immediately jumped to complaining about how much you hate FE when someone mentioned wanting an impossible favorite character in Smash. You could've just said that's what you didn't like instead of bashing the whole game, and I'm pretty sure everyone would've been like "okay, sorry," and moved on.
(But also FE did not originally have heart-squeezy tale elements like that outside of the plot. I don't believe that was in there until the 12th or 13th game. Many FE players are truly in it for the tactical RPG elements, and it just seems messed up to come in and call the whole fanbase "cringe".)
(But if any of you guys wanna just talk about FE, I did make another chat somewhere a while back I think.)

Back to Smash predictions, I still think Shantae has a really good chance. However, I also just started playing Astral Chain, and I think it'd be a really good PR move to include someone to drum up more interest.
