I heard Monster Hunter and I came… oh. Whoops.
How is Dauntless? I haven't heard much about it other than it's similar to Monster Hunter, but I don't have a system that can play it.

You’re correct about it being similar.
The controls (at least for me) are pretty easy to understand and get used too. There’s a lot of understanding the attacks of each monster (called behemoths in the game) and knowing when to dodge. You collect resources by gathering plants and ores, or attacking the behemoths. You can hunt with up to 3 other people as well.
It’s pretty fun in my opinion, some parts are a little harder than others but I personally like the game.

What were the weapon types again? I know about the Hammer and the Axe, but I forget the other two. Were there any ranged options?
