ah- the main plot revolves around a revelation when the MC gets their memory back, so it isn't really mentioned for the shock factor of the reveal. until then it's about the MC who doesn't remember anything, and the crew of the ship that rescued them from the coup they were injured in. the crew (well, most of them) are trying to help the MC get their memory back. there are a few similarities to dark matter though!
