Our production of Shrek isn't going too well. The dancers don't know everything, there are 7 setpieces left to build, Tech Week is next week, we have four shows, and they start at the very end of November. As you can imagine, everyone's stress levels are on par with a sealed tea kettle.

This was semi- my fault, but we had a large quiz on a book that I hadn't read yet yesterday. I have been working hard on Shrek, and the quiz was dropped in front of me with no warning. I actually had an anxiety attack, and everything was awful until the teacher said we could work with other people. As you can imagine, my nerves were shot for the rest of the day.

I feel like adults just don't understand our education system has gotten worse since when they were kids

Yeah I agree.

Oh, boy, I'm back at it again with some more show tea! Our band is fantastics, our actors can sing and dance, but the tech SUCKS. That's not what I actually wanted to talk about, though. The PLAYBILL so far is complete garbage! Renders for the advertisements are blurry, there are typos everywhere, and the song list has SONGS THAT AREN'T EVEN IN OUR VERSION OF THE SHOW! We're doing the touring cast version, which cut a few songs and scenes, and the person who did the playbill put in Donkey Pot Pie (a song that the dragon sings) and a transition song!

To top it all off, my senior bio was screwed beyond belief! There were typos, sections missing, and another section about my acapella career that I didn't include originally because I'm in the pit band! I don't mind the inclusion, it's just so clear that things were edited in such a poor way that I would have trashed every single one of those playbills and made a separate program entirely.
