Sometimes when I'm trying to post, the website won't load and will instead say "application error". Why does this happen, and will it be fixed?

Sorry about this. This almost always happens when there aren't enough Notebook.ai servers available to handle the load of everyone using it at once, and each request has to wait for its "turn" to get a response. I'm tackling this by optimizing all the code, and also by gradually increasing the maximum server count.

In short, whenever the average page load time is more than 2 seconds, another server gets automatically created to handle requests. Since we are handling around 10-15 requests from people per second at peak load times now, this gets a bit harder to handle. This is something that will be fixed soon, but probably in the form of getting better each day (as I optimize more and more of the code) rather than instantly being fixed overnight. In the meantime though, I've increased the servers available by another 2 so hopefully this'll happen less often.

That makes more sense, thank you. I also have another question, if that's alright?

So when somebody posts a link to one of the threads, sometimes there's an error and nobody can access the thread anymore. This also always happens when somebody shares a google document link and it's a private doc.

I actually just pushed up a fix yesterday that should fix that. The issue was with a third party library rendering those link previews you sometimes see, and breaking for some links. There's now some logic that just doesn't show the preview if the link would otherwise break the page, so if you see this happening anywhere still please let me know!

That happened to me but I just restarted the page :)
