im litterally sobbing, its not even andrews fault its my own duma*** that accidentally clicked the delete button and now a probably week or two weeks of roleplaying is gone and i was only able to save the first page.
please make it harder to delete so things like this dont happen to other people
(Even just moving it from right underneath the post button to the other side would help)
New issue: what are you supposed to do when it's not in the recycling bin? It's saying I didn't delete anything when the thing I deleted isn't there anymore and the page dosent exist?
Hey, i'm sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, the forums are software developed by somewhere else so they don't really integrate with the rest of the site (outside of where I've hacked things together, like badges and chats showing up on our profiles). Unfortunately, the recycle bin is just for Notebook.ai pages (e.g. all of your pages under "Worldbuilding" in the sidebar, your documents, and your timelines). When forum threads/comments are deleted, they're really deleted.
That said, I'll see if I can figure out a way to restore the thread from database backups directly, but it might take a while. We all put a lot of work into some thread and it sucks to lose anything you've written, so I'll let you know what I can recover.
Also, I'll try to jump into the design and move the delete button elsewhere, or at least color it bright red or something to make it more obvious. (Side-note: did you get the extra popup saying "Are you sure? This CANNOT be undone!" when you deleted the thread? If not, that's definitely a bug that needs fixed, but I'm seeing it when I click the button as well.)
Either way, I'll try to make this better.
dude i may have emailed you, so like you can ignore that lol.

see usually i do, but when i clicked it by accident it was only one click, and it was deleted. so i dont think it showed up, bc i didn even see myself click the delete button.
