I don't know what a type is someone please tell me.

Broadly, a ‘type’ of something is a specific kind of something, but are you referring to this word as used somewhere on Notebook?

Could you give me the context of where you don’t understand it? Like the sentence or the page?

I don't know how to write down one of my locations type because I don't know what it's referring to.

Okay, so really it’s up to you as to whatever you put on your pages, but for the Location page, ‘Type’ is referring to what type of location your location is. Is it a country, city, state, town, building, park, forest, mountain range, etc.?
