First of all, I absolutely love Notebook.ai. I´ve been using it for over a year now and it has helped me a lot.
I understand this might be complicated to do but I would love to be able to open 2 or maybe even more timelines in some sort of timeline comparison so I could easily look up when certain events overlap or influence each other etc.
A second thing that might help is to be able to not only reference timelines in other timelines but to reference specific events from one timeline into another.
Very curious what others might think of this :)
This is a super-awesome idea. There's a ton more I want to do with timelines (they're very clunky right now), but I hadn't even considered merging multiple ones together / viewing multiple ones at a time. I don't know how hard it'll be, but I'll definitely get this added to the to-do list. Anything that makes timelines more usable and/or more useful is great thinking; thank you!
Also, definitely makes sense to be able to reference specific events from other timelines. I'll do some thinking on the best way to implement this (i.e. @-mentions in event text, actually linking one event to multiple timelines, etc), but that's a good idea, too. If you have any thoughts on how referencing specific cross-timeline events would work best for you, I'd also love to hear it!
Thanks a ton for the feedback; timelines are something that technically work but there's a ton left to do before they meet the level of polish I'd be happy with, so I appreciate the collaboration. :)
Sorry for the late response but that sounds awesome. Thank you for taking it into consideration. And your example of @-mentions to link one event to multiple timelines sounds awesome, especially if you could see per event in which timelines they are mentioned in :D
Love the work you´re doing and again thanks for being so responsive to the community!
@andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) I'd like this feature for writing our Visual Novel and Book, if it helps.
