forum Question on those character tabs that link to other things

Hi! Sorry about the weird title — that’s the only accurate way I could come up with to describe my problem. I originally posted this in the Notebook.ai Tutorials thread, but I thought it’d get more traction here.

So, you know all of those categories you can change in the default editor thing? There are certain categories that link other pages to a one, for example, you can click “Technologies,” then “Add technologies,” then click on one of your technologies to link it to a character’s page through that character page. I was wondering, is there any way to change the type of page linked? What if I wanted to link a magic instead of a technology? Or if I wanted to make a new category to link to one such magic, while keeping a technology tab?

Unfortunately, there's no way to change the kinds of pages these links point to (yet), or add new ones. This is on the to-do list as it's a pretty common request, though. The plan is to (eventually) allow creating or customizing these links in kind of the same way Collections work: you can pick and choose one or many different kinds of pages for a link to be able to link to, and then all of those pages will appear in the link dropdown. But alas, it's pretty difficult to get working with the current link system, so there's a lot of work yet to be done until this'll be possible!
