First I just wanna say that props to @andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) for the new site design because it's pretty great! Everything feels a lot more sleek and organized than it was before. With that said, and idk if this has been the case for anyone else, but I REALLY don't like the top color border that's on everything now. It's not so bad when each page type has a different color and one is, say, a nice brown - but when I'm looking at the races page (which I've been adding a lot on recently), the bright neon green gives me an immediate headache that makes it really hard for me to focus on writing, and I have a hard time even looking at my computer screen because of all the head pain.
Aw, I feel you there. I actually recolored religions entirely because the yellow was so intense (and white-text-on-yellow was just… no). I'll be taking a look at all the colors today and doing some tweaking to prevent this now that they're a lot more prevalent, but in the meantime I just darkened the race color quite a bit, so it should be a lot less neon and have a lot more contrast, which should (hopefully) help out with the headache and distractingness. Is that any better?
Before / after:
I'll also take a look at how hard it'd be to get some sort of classic-blue preference option and/or allowing users to customize colors themselves. Obviously that won't be done immediately, but hopefully this new color should be a little better.
@andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) That's actually so much better!! Thank you so much for addressing this problem so quickly, you have no idea how much I appreciate it.
