So I recently noticed that in the 'recent worldbuilding activity' section on my profile that I have a character called Susan Elaine Bowers. She's not one of my characters, and it says that I updated the character 9 months ago. When I go to the character's profile it says that she belongs to someone called Annika.
The thing is, I don't remember this character, and I certainly don't remember updating/editing her.
Does this happen to others or is it just me?
Yes, I checked and I have this character: https://www.notebook.ai/plan/characters/257066#overview_panel, and this character: Kadachi
Neither of which I updated or is even mine.
Oof. I'll look into this and see what's up. Thanks for the heads up.
I also have other people's characters on my Recent Activity. If I visit anyone's character, it instantly shows up on mine and says I updated it even though I didn't.
I'm having the same issue…
I can guarantee you, recent wordbuilding activity, that I did not update an item titled "Arkayne Throne" 8 hours ago. I don't have an item with that title. I hadn't even touched my wordbuilding pages for a week until right now…
Thanks, guys. This is something I'm working on fixing but is taking longer than expected. In short, sometimes viewing someone else's page (and a few other niche actions) can add that page to your own list of recently-edited content (but still won't let you see it if it's private). I'm hoping to have a fix out shortly – hoping for tonight's release.
Sorry this took so long to identify and fix. This should be fixed for all pages going forward: pages you view should no longer get added to your recently-edited list unless you've actually, well, recently edited them.
