I decided I don't want the discussion I started to be up anymore. Is there a way to delete it?

You can't delete it, but you can edit it.

andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s just added the ability to do this! Go to the discussion you’ve deleted, and at the bottom of the thread, under the Post reply button, you should see a Delete topic button if it’s a discussion you started.

You can’t UN-delete a discussion, so use this with care!
