forum Getting rid of old chats

So as we've all seen, there are a ton of old and abandoned chats, in every forum. Especially the role-playing forums. I just think to clear it up a bit, we could delete some of the older ones? Like the ones from way back last year.

Why would we do that? I mean I’m just wondering bc I don’t really see the point

So that the forums are less crowded, and aren’t filled with just tons of old, empty chats that no one has visited in months.

Yeah but what if people want to come back and read old role plays or forums?

Maybe there can be a discussion just for old, dead RPs and chats so people can still read them but they won’t clutter up other discussions?

So basically an archives, like on some forums when there’s no reply for a specific (and long) amount of time, replies are disabled and the thread’s moved to storage?
