Does my subscription automatically cancel itself? That is my main question here. I paid for Paypal for one month but I can't see no agreement or anything set up on Paypal under indent labs I think it was so I presume it will just automatically cancel itself after the month is up???

Hey there, great question!

There's actually two ways to access Premium; one of them will automatically cancel and one will renew each month.

  1. Our standard subscriptions let you choose to pay every 1, 3, or 12 months and will automatically renew at the end of that period until you cancel them by clicking "Downgrade" on your billing page.

  2. Prepaid Premium Codes (which it looks like you have) let you buy a set amount of time on Premium (1, 3, 6, or 12 months) and will automatically cancel themselves at the end of that time. You can see your Premium Codes here.

In either case, you'll still have full access to all the pages you created while you're back on the free plan and you can re-upgrade any time (using either method) to create more. Right now, Paypal can only pay for the prepaid Premium Codes and not set up a recurring subscription, though.

Does that all make sense? Happy to help otherwise!

Sorry to hear that; I'll see what I can do to clean up the design soon and make things a little clearer. Paypal (and prepaid codes) are still a relatively new addition to the site, so they definitely aren't integrated in as smoothly as I'd like (yet)!

In the meantime, you can verify you used a Premium Code at the Premium Code page. You should see a section at the bottom titled "Your purchased Premium codes" and you should see a single purchased code there that says when it was activated. It should look something like this:

Just a reminder, these prepaid subscriptions (as you have) will not automatically renew at the end of the period. At that point you'll lose access to create any new Premium pages, but you'll still have full access to view, edit, or share any pages you've already created. They're yours forever.

You can also verify you don't have an active recurring subscription by visiting the Billing page in the sidebar. You should see a message at the top saying you're on the free plan (no active subscriptions), but have access to Premium through your prepaid code. It should look like this:

Again, thanks for the feedback here; I can definitely see how all of this is confusing and the site is still a work in progress that I'm trying to make better each day. I'll take this as feedback and get some clarity improvements to the whole billing flow soon!
