Deleted user

I attempted to sign into my sole account on Notebook.ai, but the site said that the email address was wrong. And then I remembered: I changed the email address back to my old one.
So I entered in the correct email address and……it still said the email/password was incorrect.
I triple+-checked both the email(s) and the password, but everything seems to be alright. It seemed like there was no account belonging to either of my email addresses, old or new.
So, hopefully this wasn't a mistake, I used my newer email address to make an account. Same username. Same password.
Nothing. It acted like a new account, which is what I feared/expected would happen.
A friend of mine said they could still see my username on various threads, and when they clicked it it still gave my old details; it listed my public pages and said the account had been created 11 months ago (which is when I joined Notebook.ai). I asked them to send me a link to one of the threads.
They did and when I clicked the link I could also see the same things my friend did. Expect it was as if I were looking at another user's account and not my own.
Is there any way for me to regain access to my original account? Did me making a new one in an ignorant attempt at recovering the old one make things impossible to recover?
I'm attempting to remember and type out as much as I can remember of the characters/universes/items on my account onto Google Docs, but what I remember isn't much.
Any insight?
