Okay, so over the past several years, I have started many different stories and only ever completed two basic short ones. I dont know if you guys have been on Storybird, but one of my stories was published there, called Together. So anyways, Ive been meaning to get serious about sticking with one book and writing it. I just dont know if any of them are good and worth writing about. My siblings tend to steer away from the conversation, so…..
But here are summaries of several story ideas, I had.
- Kate and Raven
- Okay, I havent completely worked this one out as I changed a lot of ideas. It would be a series. So it starts with Kate Stirling, a young lady who ran away from home as a teen, after a tragic loss in her family. She works at a cafe and rents an apartment with her friend, Kaylee. An ordinary life for an ordinary girl. But one of the latter isnt true and the other is about to change. Kate begins to suspect her life is being threatened. She has narrowly missed being hit by a car, suspected poisoning, and a balcony collapsing just missing crushing her. But when she is one day, physically attacked by several men, she is rescued by a strange young man who is injured in the process. He refuses however to go to hospital. At her wits end, Kate brings him back to her apartment. As she tends to him, she notices strange scars covering his body. When the man recovers he warns her, her life is in danger. She is frightened by this but shrugs it off as being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But that night she awakes to the apartment on fire. She escapes with Kaylee but goes back for her saviour. The fire seems to have awoken a memory. There is a flash of light and all goes black. She awakes to find herself and the man in another world.
It becomes apparent that the man is none other than the second prince of Xelia, Prince Raven, who was banished after injuring his brother. His sister, Princess Ciara Svana has undone the banishment spell and called him back. The reason being that their youngest brother, Egan, has suddenly gathered an army and seiged the castle. Raven having been close with Egan may be the only hope. Kate tries to aid him while trying to uncover just who and why her life was threatened.

- Andrea and the Rising of the Wolves
- Andrea King lives with her aunt while her parents work away. Feeling unloved and neglected, the young teen runs away, only to be swept into the world of Anruen and the country of Erlenia. But when she witnesses the death of a young soldier and is told it was caused by the wolf, Andrea changes her mind and agrees to aid them to capture it. But that small descision chamges everything. Before she knows it, Andrea is stuck between the war of men and mages. Only she has the power to choose the outcome. The descision to choose a side or peace. But who is the victim in this war? Men or Mage?
- Untitled as of yet
- Dern is a Kryn boy, who has been captured and sold, after the massacre of his village. He goes from hand to hand, until he ends up in Xelia, a slave to the king. He captures the interest of the royal children and soon their new playmate. But as years pass, the Princess Leyana begins to feel something more than just friendship. On the other hand, Prince Zander grows jealous as their grandfather, the king, favours Leyana. Dern find himself between the siblings rivalry. When King Brannon suddenly dies, everything becomes chaos as siblings fight for the throne. Realising, he is not the only survivor of the Kryn massacre, Dern has thoughts elsewhere. To fight for freedom, not only for himself but also for all Kryn. But will Leyana's affections and Zander's hatred interfere.
- Queen of the Rogues. (Similar to above)
Zaelan is a Runen who has been enslaved as a punishment for killing his officer. He was not executed for the charge as he was an aknowledged warrior and had killed in self defence.
In the midst of a busy market, thronging with foreigners from all over the world, he catches the attention of a strangely clad woman, who offers to take him. Brought into the desert of Dune, Zaelan is horrified to find himself among the Rogues, known as the desert rats. Even worse, he has been purchursed by the spoilt granddaughter of the chief himself. Although the chief is still at a ripe age and healthy in mind and body, it is his granddaughter, Ara, who runs the camp. All the men respect and obey her. Zaelan finds himself begrudgingly liking the high-spirited but bossy lass, and remains unrebellious.
But when the newly ascended Runen ruler, king Dannon, decides he will not threatened by a small lone clan like the Rogues and commits an atrocious act, the people of Dune rise up in revenge. With war on the horizon, Zaelan is faced with a choice. Betray the Rogues and win back his freedom and life he had. Or fight with the masters he is enslaved to, against the ones who caused him injustice?
I have a couple more but will leave it at this. Feel free to ask questions.
