I want to know what people think about some of the ideas I've had for stories.
Please put the number that corrisponds to the idea with your thoughts. No, I am not looking for comments such as 'I like it'. I want to know WHY you like/dislike the idea(s). I also ask that you do all of them.

1: Psychic teacher teams up with an undercover detective to find and stop the homicidal maniac thats kidnapping and killing his students in horrific ways.

2: Young pyrokinetic teenager is framed for setting fire to his school, and sets out to discover the truth.

3: A forgotten king teams up with the children that he promised to secretly protect to not only end a war, but reclaim his throne as well.

4: Elderly perverted man who is part of a secret organization summons demon, makes a deal with the demon for it to not only act as his son, but kill people (other supernatural creatures, gods, and goddesses) as well. The demon works with a human girl, a hunter, and they unintentionally fall for each other. They also fight against another secret agency.

5: A middle-aged woman returns home to visit her father, who has dementia, at his farm. Upon arriving she meets a farmhand/caretaker, who helps her care for her father. The woman and her father relive some fond and not-so-fond memories which force the woman to remember something horrible that happend to her while she was a child.

6: A husband and father investigates the sudden, tragic deaths of his sister and daughter, all while trying to cope with grief and family life.

7: A man becomes a widower under unexpected mysterious circumstances. Some time later he meets and falls for a woman, whom his children love. Both have mysterious pasts, and one of them plots the death of the other.

8: A story revolving around a family of hitmen/contract killers.

8: I enjoy the idea of contract killers and hitmen because I immediately think of an 80s sitcom where they are all jovial and act like a normal family, but they all just happen to kill people.

“Bye, Mom! We’re off to school!”
“Do you have your lunch?”
“Yes.”
“AND your silencers?”
“Aw, Mom! We can get the job done without ‘em!”
“I’m not bailing you two out of jail because you didn’t know how to properly silence your weapons!”
“Whatever, Mom.”
Hurries everyone out of the house, and then grabs a shotgun in a secret compartment

Well, I can see this being a netflix original so I would have to vote for this one.
As for the others…
1) I kind of like the idea of this, but can only really get behind it if there is a really huge twist. Such as the killer is the psychic and has split personalities from reading too many minds, or its the detective that has been doing the killings the whole time and knew about the psychic and his abilities. He just wanted to share his love of his hobby with someone else that he knew would know how he felt.
2)I personally am not too fond of this theme because it seems pretty cut and dry. It just doesnt seem to have enough grip to the story since it seems so open ended.
3)I like the idea of it but I can’t get the “Lion, witch, and the wardrobe” out of my head when I read it.
4) I would love this as a story. Could make it really fun by having the story be really dark and sinister when the deamon is with the man. Then when the demon is with the hunter to have it be uplifting and whimsical. Such as with the man it is death and wonton destruction, but tea parties and long walks on the beach with the hunter.
5) when i read this it seemed that the story would be about the father and daughter, but it seems like you wanted it to be about the helper and I am just not sure how it would be all tied together.
6) Its not a bad idea for a story, but I kind of want it to tie together with #1. As if its the father of one of the students that dies and the mother was a teacher at the school that was killed as well.
7) I can see this going places. As in the evil child turns out to be the one that killed the wife and then pulls the strings to get the father together with his mom. Im not too sure at the moment on how the story would prpgress but it would be a good start to it.
8) Cant do much better then what King Dedede suggested.
