So these will be short descriptions, but I'm wondering if these characters are too stereotypical? This is the main character and her friend group. Thanks!
Bea (main): has social anxiety at beginning but develops over the course of the book, kind, funny. Female, 17 years, short curly red hair, freckles, and fair skin
Adelie (best friend): outgoing, says whatever she feels, flirty, loyal. Female, 17 years, long black hair, dark skin, short
Roland (friend, love interest?): confident, funny, but sometimes hides sadness with humor. male, 17 years, curly brown hair, light brown skin
Everett (friend): kind, loyal, understanding, smart. Male, 18 years, blonde hair, fair skin
Giana (friend): confident, covers up pain with sarcasm, pushes people away because she's afraid of attachment. Female, 18 years, medium length brown hair, light brown skin, sharp eyes

I think Bea's appearance is slightly stereotypical. How can Adelie be flirty, yet loyal? I suppose she could be loyal to her friends, but not her boyfriend/girlfriend. . .
Sounds great! Good job!

Flirty doesn't have to mean she cheats on people. Sometimes people are just naturally flirty—it's how they talk, how they interact with other people. It's not like they mean anything by it, most of the time, or want to get anything out of it. A flirty person is often someone who just jokes around with the possibility or idea of romance/sex a lot in conversations with others, often involving sexual or suggestive jokes of one kind or another.
