Okay okay, hi hello greetings I'll keep this first bit brief.
So I wanted to write an interactive story, and didn't know where else to put it. So basically I looked through a crap tone of formats and finally decided this was the best place for it.
I know not that many people come on this format, but I still hope thoughs who do will enjoy this story.
If you have any ideas and or things you want in the story feel free to PM me.
I'll be trying to keep this updated as much as possible (at least once a week if this is a success.) So please tell your friends about it if you like it. ^^
The first update will be tomorrow as I have school work to attend too. See y'all soon. ^^

@Dirt

\Okay so I rushed this first bit a little bit just so I could get it out a little early. Sorry it it makes no sense?
Hope you enjoy. ^^//

@Dirt

Most can remember it as if it where yesterday, I can too. Some still think this is nothing more then a bad dream.
I wish it was. But its not.
In the sad reality we call ours, our heros left us. No not by choose, but rather by force.
It was the year 35XX, The heros, karkota, Kia, and lirra, had just finished their biggest battle yet. Or so we thought. But he wasn't done yet, and he called upon his forces to destroy them. My sister, lirra was the last standing.
She was blessed with the strength to fight against the King of shadows, but like karkota and Kia, she fell.
I wish I was strong enough to fight against him. But any one born with that strength, they never had time to harness it.
My sister used to tell me that I had that strength. I had my smarts. She had her powers.
I always envied that.
Truly what can smarts do against a murder?
Maybe it would be easier to except it.
Most had already. They excepted the fact that they'd never be safe again.
But me? No I wouldn't except it.
I'd much rather try to fight still. Even if it gets me killed just like my sister.

It was late in the evening when a knock was heard at her bedroom door. At this point in her life it was a guessing game. The man who killed her sister, or a servant sent to fetch her. Neither where welcome in her book. Not anymore. "Miss Harper." Called the shakey voice of a servant. For they all thought Harper had helped the Shadow king in taking over the world.
"Go away." Her voice calm, with the ever hint of destruction. "The king requests your presents." Usually Harper shut them down with the whole 'go away' but this one wasn't leaving. "Didn't you hear me the first time!" She stood angerly and walked to the door, practically stomping. "Go away-" she opened the door to a fimillier face.
"Awe, I thought you'd be glad to see me though." Lucas winked at Harper and slipped in her room, shutting the door behind him. "I just thought I'd visit my princess."
"Lucas you idiot, why didn't you come through the window?"
Though it was quiet obvious why. After all, who wanted to climb, or in Lucas' case, float all the way up there. It was probably easier sneaking in anyway.
Lucas was one of the few who didn't get snuffed out when they hunted down everyone with powers.
He was one of the lucky ones, even though the rest of his family died.
"Are you packed?" Lucas asked hopefully, he'd wanted Harper to run away with him sooner, but somethings started proving difficult.
Harper looked at her trunk on the bed, her journal sitting on top. "Lucas I-" she stopped short not knowing how to say this.
But she couldn't leave. Not with knowing The Shadow king would find her.
"I can't go with you." How could she? After all like her sister had said years ago, Harper was smart. Would it be smart to run away? To take that risk?

Now you choose
A) leave with Lucas
B) stay

@Festive_Fenrir

(ahhhhh this is so freaking adorable!!!)
A) Leave with Lucas
(btw how exactly does this work, do you write and I answer from the choices, then I write, or do I just answer the choices?)

@Dirt

(Ack sorry I should have explained a little better. Sometimes I think everyone just knows what I'm thinking lol.
Anyway, so basically I write the whole story, but you get to put input on the storyline. So say a big disicion is coming up, like two people need saving but only one can be saved, in that case you'd get to choose, And if more people ever join I'd go by the majority vote. Sorry if that doesn't really make to much sense.)

@Dirt

A) go with Lucas-
"Yes you can." Lucas reached out and took Harper's hand in his. His face hopeful she'd change her mind. "You can come with me! And, and we'll get away from the Shadow king. You don't have to stay a prisoner." a prisoner, it had been a year. When the heros died- when He killed them, he'd taken their family's as captives. A reminder to the world. "Okay okay, fine. Yes I'll go." Harper shook her head at herself, feeling stupid for thinking she couldn't. Even if the Shadow king did track her down, he'd surely keep her alive. After all he was a "just" king. Harper almost laughed aloud at the thought. 'a just king.' who was she kidding, it'd probably be worse to stay alive in his care. "Good." Lucas smiled and kissed Harper on the cheek. "We have to be quick." Harper nodded her head and slung her bag over her shoulder before Lucas picked her up. "Try not to move to much. I don't want to drop you." Not that Lucas had ever dropped Harper, no. He had the strength to hold her, and of course it helped that Harper was small. "Wait-" she blurted the words just as Lucas was ready to go out the window. "What if they shoot you down?" The worrying in her voice evadant.
"And what if they spot us sneaking though the castle? Bother are dangerous. But we have to take that risk, Harper." Lucas offered a small smile, trying to be reassuring. But that still didn't shake her fear.

DUN DUN DUN, the choose is yours my dear friend! Pick wisely.
A)try go out the window
B)try to sneak through the castle

@Dirt

A) try and go out the window-

"The window." Harper's voice shook with anticipation. No matter how old the world, how far away it seemed to her while she was locked away, it wasn't old. It wasn't far. Its problems still clung to her. Making Harper feel responsible. Again, making her envy her sisters strength.
"Right. Hold on." Lucas adjusted his hold, and Harper hid her face in the crok of his neck. Hights always scared her. Maybe that's why anxiety pulled at her. Not because she felt like they'd get shot down. But because she was afraid Lucas would drop her. Where did that fear come from? He'd never dropped her when they where younger. He'd always float as high as his little body would go, Harper on his back- just like now. No but this was different. Now there would be no adults- their parent's- to watch them and make sure they didn't fall. No hospital for a broken arm, or a sprained wrist. Heck, this kind of fall would result in death, not just a broken arm.
The feeling of floating always took Harper by surprise. She'd have described it as the drop right before a rollercoaster reached its peak. Or when you're driving and hit a bump to fast, and your gut does this weird thing where it seems to want and jump out of you.
'1…2…3' Harper began to count silently to herself. Wishing the seconds to tick by faster. But they didn't. Instead they stretched feeling like hour's. '4…5..6' she held her breath as if willing them to float into the clouds, out of sight. "Breath Harper." Lucas' voice. Calming. Relaxing. Unlike the gun shots that followed.
They'd been spotted- of course they had. The air was to open. They where to visabul. Even in the dark. '7…8…9' she couldn't stop counting. It was the only thing that kept her from screaming. Or so she thought- Lucas' grip seemed to falter as air zipped past them.
They where falling, something was wrong. "Lucas!" Haper screamed, not daring to open her eyes. "Lucas!" She screamed again. The wind seeming to carry her words away. '10'
Harper forced herself to open her eyes, and pull her face away from Lucas' neck so she could see his face.
Though Lucas was deathly pale most of the time, now he looked even paler. Harper let out a curse.
___

Harper opened her eyes to see trees above. What had happened? Her head throbbed and the last thing she could remember was falling.
She jerked up, her head spinning from the sudden motion. "Lucas-" she whipped her head around and ignored the spinning as much as possible. "Lucas where are you?" Harper hissed out, thinking that if she was to laud someone other then Lucas might find her.

the choice is yours
A) stay put
B) look for Lucas

Sorry this one took me so long. I got caught up in a good book//

@houdini

B) look for lucas

this guy already has done too much for her, she'd better find him or i'm gonna….probably just cry, tbh.
