In my story there is an Arabic transwoman who is cursed to become a monster. Is the fact that she's arabic and trans a problem?

Okay I'm a white cis girl so take anything I say with a grain of salt, but some stuff you should consider:
Does she get a happy ending?
Does her being Arabic/trans have anything to do with why she's punished? Because that's not sending a great message.
Remember that whole fiasco with JK Rowling and her character Nagini? I see something similar happening here very easily. Is she a villain in this story?
I think these are things to consider when writing a minority character, esp in a delicate role such as this one. Hope that helps you :-)
@Kaloobia I actually decided to make her east asian so I don't know if this makes it better or not. She's not the villain, her being cursed has nothing to do with her race or her gender identity. She's not the pet of a white man so I hope that makes it better and I am either going to kill her, which I see why that would be problematic so I probably won't, or have her curse be lifted.
Alright cool! It's your story so I won't say much else haha, but it's cool of you to go out of your way for sensitivity sensors and stuff :-)
