This is going to sound weird but Im working on this g.me thing, I originally wanted it to be a simple visual novel and it became a full 3D rpg style game… Kind off… See, I got the concept but I been bussy working on other stuff and I lost motivation on it ultil I found this site, point is, the game basically consist on a group of mages who have to survive in a world where mages are killed and the protagonist is involved on some kind of prophecy, I just want to know if someone is interested on the Idea, I have to re-do everything since what 12 year old me wrote has nothig to do with the final idea (I have posted a few of the main characters already) Im awarw that is probably a bad idea to talk about something that I haven't even started but I want to know if some people would play it if it actually got release. I probably should't post this here since everyone is talking about books but I guess writing a script counts…
It sounds interesting although I'm wondering what kind of setting it is, why the mages are being killed, and why there's a prophecy for this.
Also, are you making this game by yourself? A full 3D rpg made by one person is very ambitious, not to deter you or anything, but a visual novel might be more realistic. Well I suppose it depends what kind it is. Is it open-world? Can you make your own choices?
Overall a good idea I think
Im aware of how ambitious it is but I got a few friend who can help, it is a open world that why is no longer a visual novel, for the mages part is because magic is considered a taboo and mages dangerous (mages originally were slaves so when they got tired of it people started to fear them) as for the setting is pretty much an average medieval fantasy, anyway thanks you for giving your opi ion, I honestly thougt nobody would read this :)
Also, yes, you can make your own choices, about the prophecy, even in the story is kind off ambiguos, the protagonist is the reincarnation of the previous seer making her the new one, nobody directly says it to her but all seers are destined to change something, part of the game is to fullfil that
