@Dovahdez
Hello! In about 3 weeks I must turn in a final short story for a college course in fictional writing I am taking this summer. I was wondering if anyone is interested in reading through it and helping me edit? I am mainly looking for grammatical corrections, but any other tips or constructive critiques are accepted!
Its final draft is going to be between 8-15 pages long (Arial, size 11). It isn't finished yet, but if you'd be okay with reading through it early, it would allow me to make edits before its due and relieve some stress off my shoulders.
WHAT ITS ABOUT- - (it was a prompt I found on pinterest lmao) Personified versions of Life and Death keep the earth in balance, but human hatred kills Life as the world breaks out in nuclear warfare that was so strong He couldn't prevent it. Death, in shock, does nothing but continues her job, transporting life after life to the afterworld until only a handful of people are left. She comes to the realization that if all of humanity dies, she dies too. So, she starts making efforts to prevent the last remaining humans from dying until they can rebuild and repopulate the earth. The humans notice her effots and start to call her Life.
There is an underlying love-story between Life and Death (that doesn't last long for obvious reasons), and I am currently only to the part right after Life dies.
If it's not your type of story, no worries! Thank you for considering!
