So my story idea involves a girl who joins a superhero team, only to find out that the super heros are evil and she needs the supervillains' help to stop them.

Hmm. Currently I think it sounds a bit boring. However, with a more extended plot and interesting characters, I would totally read and enjoy it. I say go for it!

I think that that actually sounds really cool! Especially if she starts getting close to people before realizing that they are using her.

I think it would be really great if you could kind of have them raising her from when she was young so she has that emotional connection to the team which would give way to both internal and external conflict which will give the story and characters more depth. Perhaps she believes she's an orphan but the "superhero team" actually stole her when she was a baby because they saw so much potential in her. You could also have her learning from a young age all of these lies about the "villains" but realises they are all false when she meets them. Obviously she won't be able top accept all of this information at once so that will give to the confusion and frustration of the protagonist. Just a question what kind of characters do you think you'd like to include in the story (e.g. personality types and the relationships between the characters)?

@Tiani I was thinking the main character would be really enthusiastic and huge fangirl of the super "hero" team she joins. She becomes really good friends with two members of the team. One of them is really sarcastic and the other is really quiet and thoughtful. The group she thinks are the villains are actually villains. The villains and the "heros" both want to take over the world so they both try to stop each other.
