I'm in the process of writing a short story about a teenager who can freeze time only by snapping both hands at the same time. Then, one day, he finds a girl walking among the time-frozen crowd. And so it becomes this story of the clash between the two characters. The boy (Cesar Ramirez) uses his powers for self-interest, going so far as ~doing it~ with his friends just because he can. The girl (Laura Alesina) never uses her powers except to avoid harm or to teach Cesar a lesson. My hope is that, because I'm a high school filmmaker, that I will eventually adapt the story and make a short film based on it. Thoughts?

woah! the basic plot sounds interesting because of the potential story arc of Cesar. the way I see it, Laura has to change his whole way of thinking in the end because otherwise he could literally take over the world with this power
