Hey, I'm deciding to write a love triangle, and I'm trying to see how to do it right, like how to show the heroine attractions to the other love interest, how to make he choose, how will it fit in the story, How to keep it going without making the heroine look like a prick or idiot, and not make the audience want to stab every party involved with a triangle(Technically pentagon)

Cause I have a triangle too, but for me, it's not really the focus of my story. So there is a little bit of romance, but it's not a lot to become the main plot and main idea and focus of the story. So that's an idea you might want to entertain too. Unless it's supposed to be a romance novel. Then go all out i guess.

Also, even if it is romance novel, don’t make it all about the attraction. Make your heroine have other things to do as well, not only thinking about the love interest all the time. That’s a way of making it easier for her not to be the kind of idiotic character that only cares about her love interests and has no real life.
My tip on how to show the attraction is to let her begin by liking one of the characters and be pretty sure about that. Then, the other one comes along. She doesn’t fall for them immediatly. Make her realise sometime during the story that maybe she likes the new one, but let her be a bit confused since she thought that she really liked the first one. Or do a Twilight and make the first one disapear for a while, not necessarily gone by distance but maybe her not seeing them as much as normal, and then you introduce the second one.
Ooh I just came up with an idea; what if you make it even more complicated and make the best friend of the heroine start liking one of the love interests, and when they do the heroine gets jealous-ish and then realises that maybe she likes the love interest as well.
hee hee hee… @IHaveADamProblem weeeeelllll… soooo, my main is a girl and she doesn't really like either of the "love interests" but she starts to fall for one guy and then the other guy says he likes her too cause he's jealous, but get this, HE IS THE BEST FRIEND! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) buuuut then he gets over possessive so main girl goes to other guy and best-friend dude realizes he really gay.

If you know Swedish lol…. since that’s my first language, it’s written entirely in Swedish. I probably won’t translate it if I don’t publish it. But… if you want to read any special scenes for inspiration or something like that I can always translate shorter parts of it? It may not sound as good as in Swedish when translated, but It doesn’t take as long as it would translating the entire thing.
Honestly, I resolved one of my love triangles in polyamory so I'm probably not the best person to give advice.
However, this video here gives advice on romantic subplots, and you could use it for writing romance in general because the advice is pretty good and straightforward. So… yeah.
Honestly don't sacrifice plot for romance, even if it is a romance novel. Just keep your characters in character, and so on. Don't watch the channel Terrible Writing Advice for help with love triangles, JP Beaubin will not stop until the YouTube community eradicated them tbh.
