So I finally finished the Zodiac series by Romina Russel, and now I really want to do an rp based on the series. We won't be following the plot exactly, but we will be in the same universe. You don't need to have read the books to be apart of rp, but if you have that's great!
The basics you really need to know is that humanity came upon this world and was greeted by the Twelve guardians of the Zodiac. Humanity then split amongst the Zodiac based upon their personalities. However there are rumors of a thirteenth house, Ophiuchus, that was lost in time. (More about the legends here: http://zodiacbooks.com/13th-sign.html). It's been a long time since then and everyone has settled down amongst their signs. Another legend among the people of Zodiac is that they actually came from Earth? But no one believes that either, just like the thirteenth house.
Few other things to know, inter 'racial' relationships are not liked by most and are often frowned upon. So ships just know you'll have to be real sneaky. Everyone will be a Zodai in training (Zodai's are essentially the keepers of peace and the best star readers) on one of the twelve, we'll figure that much out later. And the last thing before we get to the rules and other stuff, there are people called Risers. They are the displaced people of the House of Ophiuchus, some can't find a house to be with, while others change houses only once. We will have ONE riser, and I would like them to have settled into a house different then their origin. So put their original house, and their current house.
