Though Karkota- like many of his friends- had taken sign Language just to avoid Spanish classes growning up, he still had no idea what Jackle said. But one thing Karkota did understand was the other had a gun. Giving up a little on what ever plan he'd hopped to come up with, Karkota slouched a little. After all, its not like anyone who really matters was around to judge him for it. "Lovely weather am I right?" He said in attempt at joke, even though it just came out sounding awkward.
Jackal raised a brow at the other as he talked, his eyes uninterested before leaning back on the door and shutting his eyes, seeming to relax a little bit as he did.
Karkota sighed, but when he saw Jackle close his eyes, ideas popped back into his head. He eyed the gun, thinking that if he could get the jump on the other surly he could get the gun. But then again Karkota wasn't that strong. Would it even be a good idea to try and escape? His heart hammered in his chest, adrenaline building up, making him shaky. Maybe he could sweet talk his way out of this? Karkota shook his head, what would he offer? Money? He chuckled at himself. "Don't suppose you'll just let me go?"
"Oh Jackal~ I'm back!" Shadow bounds into the room with food, seeming rather happy. Jackal opens on with and smiles, signing something towards her. She glances at Karkota. "Trying to sweet talk my brother." She chuckles, "Oh honey, we don't do that." She laughs. "You must take us for fools."
"Not fools. Just descent people." Again karkota slouched. Whatever adrenaline he'd gained from trying to hype himself up, quickly disappearing. "Don't suppose the foods Poissoned or something?" His tone dripping with sarcasm.
"Nah. Fry's own cooking. Top in the country." She chuckles. "Besides. It's rare for Trigger to feed someone such excellent food." She smirks and leans on her brothers shoulder.
Karkota frowned slightly and rested his chin on hands, still eyeing the others suspiciously. For starters he deffently didn't trust them. Who would? They did kidnap him after all. "Excellent food? At least starvation won't be how I die." He said sarcastically.
Shadow raised a brow. "Look." She cut a piece of meat and eats it. She hums and licks her lips. "I guess if you don't want it, Jackal and I will." she shrugs and chuckled. "Your loss."
Again Karkotas stomach growled, and he silently chastised his idiotic body for showing any kind of weakness. He also chastised himself for being sarcastic to the people who could Litarlly kill him if they so pleased. He narrowed his eyes, deciding he'd slip into a much calmer mindset.
Shadow waited patiently as Jackal kept his eyes on the male. Jackal seemed to be watching every move that Karkotas seemed to be making. He heard the others stomach growled, and so did Shadow. "I know you're scared. But look." She takes a forkful of the food and eats it. "Here. Go eat."
"Right-" Karkota wanted to say more but his throat clenched up. so much for the calmer mind set. he thought to himself. Karkota took the plate. Looking down at it doubtful. Sure the woman had taken a few bites. But that still hadn't full pushed away his suspicions.
